Dr Jai Maharaj, will you note two things ? For one thing,
the correct phrase is 'so-and-so passes AWAY', not 'passes ON'.
'so-and-so passes on' means nothing. Mercifully you have
not used that phrase here.
Secondly, since you sign off with "Om Shanti", let me point out
the hindu custom of conveying the news of death in a simple
manner. You don't even address the addressee with usual
paraphernalia in an obituary letter. Advertisements are
frowned upon in the vicinity of death. So you should take
off all the usual links / URLs which you normally
append to your news-group posts when announcing death.
Otherwise, you are doing some good surely in posting these
death notices and helping people keep track, albeit of
very sad events. And you don't have to post screaming headers,
typed in upper case. All religions observe solemn customs
when it comes to death.
