"The history of Hindu imperialism" by Swami Dharma Theertha is the fifth
edition (1992) of "The menace of Hindu imperialism", first published in
1941, in Lahore. The present title was given to the book from its second
edition onwards, published in 1946, 1978 and 1969, from Lahore, Delhi,
and Trivandrum respectively. Though the book was written some 50 years
ago the problems raised in it are very crucial even today and makes sense
to the present readership and urges them to take cognizance of the
opressive dynamics of Brahmanism and to destroy it.
The theme of this treatise is the continuing imperialistic oppression of
the priestly caste practised on the Indian people. The volume is original
in its thesis, and also in the development of the thesis. It is the work
of a scholar, deeply learned in sanskrit texts and in Indian history and
is fully documented. It concludes that there is no freedom with caste
and that Hinduism cannot be reformed.
Contents include among others:
Rise of Brahmanism and other castes
Brahman imperialism
How Brahmanism killed Buddhism
How Brahmanism killed nationalism
Shivaji's empire wrecked by Brahmanism
The sikhs saved from Brahmanism
Hindu culture is anti-national
Hinduism responsible for Hindu-Muslim conflict
How India is kept in chains even today
No freedom with caste
"As a result of age-long oppression, exploitation and insults by the
caste Hindus and forcing on the Dalits and the theory of Karma the latter
have become the eternal victims of an wounded psyche. The eternal
liberation of the Dalits, Tribals. Backward castes and Sudras lies in
their self-realisation, self-respect, self-reliance and
self-determination of their own destiny. Hence we publish this book
inorder to educate and enlighten the Dalits, and other non-Hindu
religious communities and even the democratic and freedom-loving hindus."
-Publisher's note.
"History of Hindu imperialism is a fearless examination. Brahmins have
everywhere been hostile to the movements in which others have struggled
to be free"- Amrita Bazar Pathrika
"This is a book every unbiased patriot should read, mark and digest. A
revolt against Hindu imperialism is necessary for Indian democracy"-
Guardian, Madras.

My dear anon :
Would you please be bold enough to post what is written in the book. I
am sure it will help many dalits and backwards to understand what are
there rights and will help them to comeout of the shackles of
Brahminism. Also it will be very use ful for muslms also who are
looking for every division in hindu society so that they can use the
segmentatin hindu socieity for there selfish needs.
'
I am also suffering from brahminism and will like to know the views
of Swami Dharam Teerth.
If it yet another dravidian/aryan/brahmin crap. Plese let us know
that also.
Your effort will be highly appreciated.
If you do not stand for what is written in this book. Please let me
know. I have some material to suggest( written by an
non-indian/non-barhmin) which has very clearly exposed the hypocrisy of
the Ramaswamy Neicker. If the book suggested by you relates to the kind
of thought as proposed by Ramaswamy Neicker, you will be disappointed
by me.
However any work must stand the test of intellectual discussion.
Therefore pleae post few lines to support the main contents of the
Books mainly:
>Rise of Brahmanism and other castes
>Brahman imperialism
>How Brahmanism killed Buddhism
>How Brahmanism killed nationalism
>Shivaji's empire wrecked by Brahmanism
>The sikhs saved from Brahmanism
>Hindu culture is anti-national
>Hinduism responsible for Hindu-Muslim conflict
>How India is kept in chains even today
>No freedom with caste
>

I would like to discuss the points mentined above. If you do not
have the conviction about what is mentioned above, Would you pleae be
brave enough to accept that it is rubbish..

Gentleman Anon,
I've not heard the name of this author, even though I lived in Lahore
(before partition). Can you please describe his background? I've seen
many deceptive name like "Father Prakash Gokhale" (a Catholic priest),
Swami something (another Christian author). So I am not convinced about
your source, yet.
Kabeer
How old ARE you, anyway? You were around BEFORE Partition? Wow! Hats
off!!!
