it's no the 'rumor' that destroy anyone's career, it's the ppl.
i really need to say "chee sin chee sin chee sin" over and over again for
this type of comment. id you talk to jeff or something? he told you he is
as straight as a board? but he prolly lie since it could damage his
career, no? forget about mercy, have some sense.

Yes, rumor created by irresponsible people can destroy ones
career. It can tarnish ones image and eventually turns people
away. Don't you understand?? It is widely known that he is
a devoted Christian and it seems very unlikely that a devoted
Christian is homosexual. Besides this newsgroup, there
has not be reports that suggest Jeff is a homosexual. Just
because he is warm and sweet and has a high voice
does not means that he is gay.

hai loh. being gay doesn't make one non-religious or atheist or
god-hating gah mah. there are dumb gay and straight and transgendered and
non-gendereed ppl who rely on the instutionalised religions to rule thier
lives. but also of course, buddhist thoughts match so much of what i think
, and i am happy that way. i should be taking the chinese religious
thoughts course next term. i am so excited! right now, i am doing
(still!) a litho/silkscreen on 'sum ging.' mom will be so proud. yeah.

It has no effect if the so called rumer is not as negative or if it
fits
one's image. Since day one, Anthony and his partner, Lau Yee Tat
are considered very WEIRD. Most of their songs can be considered
as very alternative. Most importantly, a number of their biggest
hits is about homosexual ideal for gay people. Therefore, most

since day one accepted the fact that Anthony is very possibly gay.
It will do no harm even if Anthony comes out to annonces he is gay.
However, it is a completely different case for Jeff. Jeff's image

been very clean, straight and innocent. It will only do him harm
if people keep suggesting that he is gay since it is against the
image he has projected to the audience. It will hurt him because
people may not look at him the same way. It is that simple.

Yes, I think the overwhelm presense of negative rumors can
harm a singer who has a clean image.

Well, first of all, I must say that I am not a Christian myself.
Howver,
in most cases, if you are a truly devoted Christian, you really
can't be gay since homosexual is a big no-no in Christians believe.

yeah,and my prof will be the the very interesting unno sensei. he
mediates for an hour eerytime before class, and he often stares into
space and talks . or he will stop talking for a few minutes, and there
will be absolute silence in the room. he opens ppl's pores, and the
energy level is great in the class. i visited his class once and thought
that was such a spiritual release. also, i can brag to my mom about how
knowledgeable i am on chinese religious matters. I don't know why she
woulnd' tlet me go to hk this summer, coz obviously i belong there and
