Hi, what do you think about Disney's new animated movie Mulan. I think this
animated movie is going to be good. Is anyone on this list going to see it? Who
is the actress is going to use the voice as the girl in the Disney's animated
movie Mulan. If anyone knows about it please email me.

on Mulan. They even have the Mulan poem on the site in both Chinese and
English. This movie is due to open on 6/19/98 (Friday) on the East Coast
of USA.
There was a promotional special by Michelle Kwan (1998 Lady
Ice-Skating World Champion and 1998 Olympics Women Ice-Skating Silver
Medalist) on channel 7 (ABC) on 6/16/98, 8-9pm ---- it is a one hour
special with Michelle Kwan skates as Mulan. The show is called "Reflection
on Ice: Michelle Kwan Skates to the Music of Disney's Mulan". Check out

It was a great show. Too bad you guys won't see it in HK!! After you see
this show, it makes you want to see the cartoon even more!
For those of you who don't know, Michelle Kwan has signed a four year deal

FWIW, Mulan has been getting a very good buzz from its early test screenings.

Personally, I think kids would like "Journey to the West" as an animated
movie a lot more than the story about Mulan. Then again, Journey is about
Bhuddism, and has quite religious (and folk legend) overtones. The
ideology from Journey might not be friendly to the people running Disney's
animation studios...

just saw the movie yesterday
its very good
ming na wen is the voice of Mulan in the animation
she was in Single Guy on NBC before it was cancelled
and also was in the movie One Night Stand as well as Joy Luck Club
I have to say Eddie Murphy complelely steals the scenes
the music was very good as well

re-running the Mulan movie special this Friday, 6/29/98 at 9pm, Eastern
Standard Time :-
Reflection on Ice : Michelle Kwan skates to the music of Mulan.
It was a great show. Michelle Kwan was excellent. Disney made a great
choice to sign her up and gave her this role!!! Enjoy!
