Racing Peak or "Ma Cheun Di Hung" stars Felix Wong, Chan Sou Man.
Oh, man, this has to be one of the greatest series. The story was so
great. Many series would have ended at where Di Yoh won all and would
have make the story simplier. But this story has so many climax and
falls. I love it. Felix was so good, esp. keeping that laugh of his.
It really scares me at the end. Everything about his character at the
end starting with his finding of the land. At first, his character was
what everyone in this world so try to be at least once in their lifetime:
have the confidence to go and do things. And if you fall, climb back
up. Don't QUIT! He was so energetic. Nothing can hold him back.
But at the end, it make me realize how destructive his character really
was. He was like obsessed at the end. Nothing CAN hold him back! He
didn't fear anything, and his inability to realize and accept the reality
of the situation, doomed him!

That was a GREAT SERIES. Great performances by so many great actors.
Choy Sel Fun was impressive. Felix Wong and Chan Sou Man was simply
great. I was very please with Dun Kong who played Felix's dad. He was
very good. And those four kids was so cute! They didn't really have to
die. I don't see how it drove the character of "Chicken." TVB was so
stupid to let Chan Sou Man go. In my opinion, they should have make more
series for her. Every one of her series has been hits! They under-used
her popularity.

Hi,
I agree ! Yep, this serie is the BEST ! Not because i'm a Felix Wong fan,
but the story and everything else is simply great. I love Felix's
character. He's is such a funny, crazy, yet lonely person.. He's so
afraid to be alone, once he stay up all night, down at Choi Siu fan and
Chan Sau Man's home, and just stood there. I love how his character never
gives up, and always happy. But at the end Felix dramatically change, and
his character was kinda weak, but than later, he's crazy again. Tsang
Kong, Felix dad act very well. Choi Siu Fan's character is truely cute,
and i think it's so funny when she's like obsess with Felix, : ) Also,
Wan Yeung Ming's performance was great. This serie is simply the best, it
fill with a great story line, beautiful cast. And again, Felix Wong is
cute : ) A very good actor !

You guys got me thinking that I should rent this one and check it out.
Is it a comedy or a drama? Or a mix of both? I don't want to watch it
if it is filled with depressing scenes of the lead actor being depressed
because his love interest isn't interested or has dumped him or
something like that.

yeah, the part she peed in her pants in the elevator was too funny.

yeah, ding hai was so crazy that it was funny. also, do you remember juer
yut jeh w/ dicky, chu yun, and monica chan? maan g leung's character was
one of those scary, obsessed guys too. the thing i like about these
characters are they think of themselves as good persons, it's just
everyone else who doesnt understand. makes me laugh.

yeah, especially the part where she was rolling down the stairs w/ a smile
on her face. so evil!

Nothing like that at all. It's about how Felix, a multi-businessman,
including a loan-shark, upon pursuing Chin Chin and Ada for their
payments, finds a karaoke machine. The machine is Chin Chin's, so he
wants Chin Chin to help him. So they become partners. Felix gets his
money from traid leaders, who are willing to give money to him only if he
makes money for them. Felix is just this restless, confident, energetic,
crazy guy who always has ideas. But his dream is in the derby. Forget
it, I can't continue on, you won't be disappointed in seeing the series.

yes. I think Wai Kai Fai is simply the best. Racing Peak was his final
attempt before leaving TVB; my favourites of his include " Yee Buk Yung
Ching" , " The Greed of Man" & " Wan Han Kam Chiu" (ATV produced).

Interesting enough, Mr Wai is a scriptwriter-turned-producer without ever
touched the post of director. I am curious as to why someone who never had
the appropiate experience could become an executive producer.
