Mr. Saisomorn,

Many people here wondered why the letter "ຣ" was removed from the Lao
alphabet. I had an opportunity a few days ago to ask the English
professor from National University of Laos (Dong Dok).

I thought we could use that opportunity to clamly, politely discuss
the situation as adults. He is due to go back to Lao next week.

Please behave like an adult if you don't want to lose future
opportunity to converse with Laonai.

I like your post. You're mature and gentle not like other people who always blame others and hardly forgive people. They act like they've never done anything wrong in their lives.

Many people frustrated why the letter ຣ was removed. Though I didn't learn how to use that letter I still know it. That means it's still exist in Lao language even it was cut.

Now as they bring the letter ຣ back, they have to make it more precisely for the new generation of how to use it. If not they will use other use another language instead.

Because there wasn't a letter ຣ when I studied so I really curious how to use it but I don't know who can explain it to me. Some people told me that it's needed when we make a transcription for example "red" (ເຣດ). As this point some people use IPA to make it more precisely. But what I want to know is how we use ຣ as a main letter in a syllable such as ຣົດ and ລົດ which one means "car" and which one means "taste"
