Hi all....

I don't travel that much so am not up on how to get the best
deals.

I would like to go to Hawaii sometime this year.

Where do I begin to find the best deals?

This would be leaving from and coming back to St Louis.

Thanks!

check out the folks at tropical escapes -
http://www.tropical-escapes.com/ . I booked a trip through them last
year and was able to save a few hundred dollars over what I found
elsewhere. Ask for Carol Horne.

I had *excellent* luck with Pleasant Hawaiian Holidays last year for my
trip home. http://www.2hawaii.com/

Much kudos heard re; Pleasant Hawaiian Holidays, or going directly on
their common carrier; ATA air. Verrry reasonable I've heard.
Prefer Hawaiian Airlines myself.
Rack up frequent flier miles; get one round trip to neighbor island free,
now and thgen! also, Get good kine music on the way to and from; KINE
radio, Emmy's Island Monments, slack key for 5 hours! Shaka!

Oh, you're set. TWA flies nonstop from St. Louis to Honolulu
(I've taken them on that route myself). They've got decent
prices, and have deals with Cheap Tickets here in Honolulu
(http://www.cheaptickets.com/) to sell the seats they can't
fill, at steep discounts. If you plan your travel for after
August (when the "summer peak travel season" ends), you should
be able to find fares for under $600 round-trip. (I paid $617
round-trip from Philadelphia via St. Louis last September. The
fares airlines were publishing at the time were in the $1400
range. :)
