There are two flowers that were introduced to Hawaii in 1977 "Blue Ice" and
"Green Ice". Would someone be so kind as to translate them into Hawaiian
for me? (They are calatheas)

Perhaps someone at home in the language can add to what I only read in a
dictionary, but:
Hawaiian English meaning
_______ ___________________________________________
hau ice, snow, cool, to blow
lau leaf (therefore: green)
polu~ blue (but polu~ is merely the Hawaiian pronunciation
of the English word "blue")
lipo deep blue-black, as in a dark cave
uli a very dark color - maybe blue, green or black

A green rose is loke lau, so green ice might be hau lau. As for ice
blue ...... who can say?

Only my two cents worth of thoughts, to add to Phil's,

hau 'o~ma'oma'o - green [as in emerald, a nice idea with ice] ice
hau polu~ - blue [using the introduced word, which seems appropriate with
an introduced plant]
ice
