I understand your message since I am fluent in french; what about those
who are not? it seems to me if we really want to share informations
with people we would choose a language most familiar to all.After all
we are not in the french newsgroup.Many non-french speaking individuals
have also interest in Haitian culture and writing messages in french
will certainly limit their participation.I think that english is the
perfect medium .Don't you?

Tu parles de telephone et d'acces sur l'Internet... On a des problemes
d'electricite, d'eau potable etc.... Peut-etre que notre sens de priorite
est un peu deplace'...

Actuallement il y a quelqu'un qui fait des "download" et "upload" d'Email,
mais Je n'ai pas l'adresse, on l'a poste ici pas trop longtemps de cela,
Je suis sur que ca fera surface tres prochainement...

Well, how about all those Haitians who don't speak english, should we just
discard their opinion? The solution? One should write in whatever language
One feels comfortable.

My French is limited, but I save the posts in French and print them out
allowing me time to translate them. I agree with the person who said you
should post in the language with which you are most comfortable. At worst,
you can get a friend to translate for you.

The fun of the Internet is that it is international.

If they can only speak and read in French or Creole, they must
be having one hell of a time navigating the internet, which is
predominately in english. I realize their is translators
avail, but the majority of browsers are english base. ALso
since a lot of the 'content' on the net is english based, some
knowleadge of the langauge would be necessery. Myself, I can
muddle with french with a dictionary handy.
