Who are the darkest, Italians or Greeks?

whilst many Italians, even from the north can be easily mistaken for
Arabs or even kind of mulattos!
Is that because greeks did not have any contact with Africa, unlike
Italy?
Or because Greece has a big influence from the fairer slavic people?
I am curious to know greek people opinion as I am not Greek nor
Italian, I am An Asian American that is travelling in Europe.

It depends at which time of the year you see them :-) Some Greeks get quite
dark
during the summer (while dark people don't get much more darker :-)) )

Like in Ancient Greece I think out of the 12 Gods only Athena had light
eyes. The same ratio exists today.
Infact your assessment is flawed. Southern Italians look like Greeks. In
antiquity it was called Magna Greacia cause of the dominance of Greek
colonist.
Northern Italy have a lot of northern european looks, blue eyes etc. Don't
think you could mistake them for arabs.
North of Greece you have Bulgarians and Fyrom (West Bulgarians). They are
dark like Turks. I remember a picture of their previous president Gligoroff.
Dark eyes, Big head, big nose, dumb look. Our northerners are certainly not
a "fairer" slavic people.
Let me give you a hint.
If you start a conversation on racial discussions like africans or slavs,
you will probably be slapped like a bitch.

It depends on who does the slapping. If it's from you, there is nothing

Italians have little African blood and Greeks have no Slavic blood. Where do
you fucking get these ideas? I know the world is in awe of the Graeco-Roman
legacy but to deny these 2 their racial phenotype is just arrogance.
Greeks look like Greeks and Italians look like Italians - NO AFRICANS, NO
SLAVS. Get it.
