A long time ago the country was plagued by leftist doctrines and the
administration of Marcos was threatened by the newly created NPA aka Bagong
Hukbong Bayan with the very popular Kumander known as Kumander Dante.
Nobody knew who he was despite being so popular. It was a guessing game. Some
people including me thought he was Ninoy Aquino, but others thought it was
just an acronym of big time oppositionists to the Marcos regime such Diokno,
Aquino, Tanada and so forth. Nevertheless...he was called ang pag-asa ng bayan
laban sa militar ni Marcos.
The big question still remained, who really was Kumander Dante? How come he
was so popular? Is he really a threat to national security?
Enter Corpus-para hindi mahalata,he raided the PMA where high caliber firearms
are kept with matching tangay na tangke then joined the NPA.
After a year or so the identity of Kumander Dante was revealed and he was
captured and it turned out he was just an ordinary folk hero and other leftist
leaders were captured one by one including Jose Maria Sison then finally the
surrender kuno of Corpus.
As far as I know, from the time he departed from the military and joined the
NPA up to the time he was reinstated , he got all his salary retro-active.

Bernabe Buskayno was just Ka Dante he looked too young to have led the NPA
for a long time. There must be another Kumander Dante, may be Ninoy Aquino.
So when Ninoy was allegedly killed by Ping Lacson (rflol), Corpus
surrendered for another gestapo-like infiltration to avenge against Lacson.
Cory Aquino administration wanted to grant absolute pardon for Victor Corpus
but military hierarchy under FVR did not agree.
