info re: the Myrna Diones story?

About 2 or 3 years ago, a rape/murder/torture case hit the news about
several young women who were tortured, raped and killed by police in San
Fernando. I think the name of the only survivor is Myrna Diones and a I
think a movie was made about her story. At the time, I read a wonderful
column by Inquirer writer Conrado de Quiros, and I thought I saved it, but
can't find it anywhere.

Anyway, I'm writing an essay for Advent on hope for my church and wanted to
reference Myrna's story -- of how she survived and was courageous enough to
testify. Can anybody help me with the facts of the case? I'm wondering when
it happened, what the exact outcome of the court case is, who died, etc.
etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
