According to my count the total blocks in my SERRADA Block list come up to
be 69 blocks.I have heard that if there is time each block can be done 12
different ways,so that would become 12 X 69 = 828 blocks, but actually 800
blocks. You can multiply counters for 6 blocks with each other to create
blocking method where one block joins with another from some point within the
first block, thus creating 400 more blocks to be added to the 800 blocks.
That would come out to be 800 + 400 = 1200 blocks. If with each of these
blocking options you add the 64 hits of Pekiti Tirsia, you opponent may
have to wait till 2 a.m. for you to finish your counter. Regarding the
seventh [bunga] counter to Strike no. 12, as written in my list: In
Strike no. 12, the opponent is attacking to your neck with a stick in his
right hand pointed to your neck, and a gunting stick or knife in his left
hand, also pointed to your neck.Opponent is attacking simultaneously with
these two weapons, using them to poke into your neck. He steps in with left
foot ideally so both weapons can reach equally. There are two major options
depending upon how wide the attacking guy is coming in. If he is not too
wide, you can step to the outside of his right arm, parrying the stick with
your left hand, then using your own stick in your right hand to apply a few
countering schemes. But, if he is coming in wide, [supposing he is a huge
guy with wide shoulders, long arms], you may be caught on the inside of his
two incoming arms. Then, you raise both of your arms with stick in your
right hand facing skywards. The stick will shield against the knife coming
to your right side of your neck. You utilize your left hand to catch and
guide from inside the incoming stick of the opponent which is coming to left
side of your own neck. Your guiding hand turns opponent's no. 6 attack
[poking stick] into strike no. 3 as you pull his stick downwards, and so you
finish turning the situation into Empty-Hand Pass counter of strike no. 3,
because now the opponent's stick is in sector 3. escrima eskrima silat kali
