But first let me write the extent of their shameful acts.
The editors of EC deliberately distorted the contents of articles or
added new materials to articles submitted by unsuspecting international
scholars. What is beneath contempt is that the materials they added to
articles submitted by international writers are pure fabrications and
appalling distortions. For example, a picture of professor Asrat, in
which he was accepting an award fro his contribution in the medical field
was inserted in an article submitted by professor Ayitee of The American
University in DC with a text which falsely states that the professor was
awarded for his contribution for the war effort against the Ethiopian
people.
This was done by the editors of EC without the knowledge and approval of
the author of the article ( I have posted Professor Ayitee's letter of
protest to the Editors of EC with a separate heading).
An other picture of the former Patriarch of Ethiopian Orthodox Church
was inserted. In the picture, the Patriarch is seen giving financial
contribution to help famin victims. This picture was inserted with text
saying this was a contribution for mengistu's war effort. In the
background of the picture (Mr. Shimeles Adugna The former commissioner
of Famin Relief is shown). But he was referred to as "the other dog in the
ppicture is unidentified.)
