(2) presenting or distinguishing sharply subtle differences

(this is my more-or-less word-for-word translation from PV; if I
remember the context you got this from it was probably definition #2)

don't think that's a "real" English word; "reinstatment", perhaps?
But it really means simply "the process of making something (or
someone?) be again"
