and lonely, that she has to leach on to an imaginary character, that
"guy from Taiwan", which she has been building during all these years,
and play a part that she wanted to be, a castle in the air that she
herself believes is true, hence denouncing her own ethnic group and

Will she ever change? Of course not. Change to what? Her own
Philippino people shun her, because they all know she is a
pathological liar, and she thinks she is too good for them. The people
with whom she wants to socialize look down on her, because they all
