Only a handful of states in the Union have a deposit law, so the rest
has a problem with littering. My community and many other communities
are full of shit and nobody has a solution. Oh, they clean once a
week, but the bottles don't disappear. There's no recycling program
where I live --not that it makes much of a difference. The
supermarkets oppose the deposit law so the average Joe doesn't have
much say.

We need a drastic solution:

"BAN BOTTLED WATER"

At the same time we could legalize weed so people can have some
escape. Reality sucks, right?

Now we enjoy unlimited raw materials from the Third World --or so it
seems.

Just like we get manufactured imports from China that in turns comes
from raw materials in Africa or Brazil and Venezuelan oil.

They call it "globalization."

There they have a real recycling program...

Maybe we should export all that garbage to the Third World, where they
can recycle.
