One of my favorite whisk(e)y is the delicious Jameson, and I'd like
to know the meaning of two gaelic words which are in good place on
the bottle: "sine metu".
Does someone know other famous gaelic short sentences (easy to remember)
with their meaning ?

Thanks in advance.
Thierry.

This is not gaelic. It's Latin for "without fear".

Hi, Thierry,

You know by know that Sine Metu is Latin for "Without Fear". If you want that in Irish, it is "Gan Eagla" qui se prononce "Gann-AGG-la" ou bien "neamheaglach" (navv-AGG-laX) = "fearless" (intrépide, courageux, sans peur.

Si vous aimez le Jameson's, je voudrais vous proposer un autre "uisce beatha" (whiskey). Tullamore Dew. Tá sé ana-mhaith - C'est très bon.
