Can anyone help me find a real traditional Christmas Greeting in
Scots Gaelic ? We currrently make personalised Celtic gift plaques , and
till now have only used Irish Gaelic . We use " Beannacht Nollaig "(Christmas
Blessing) for our Christmas candle settings we would love to make some with
a popular scottish Christmas Greeting ? If you have any other popular Sottish
Greetings that would be great too!

Failte,

I have always used, "Nollaig Chridheil, agus Bliadhna Mhath Ur" (Merry Christmas,
and a Happy New Year). This is pronounced "nolla-eek chree-yell, ughuss blee-unnuh
va oor", if you are interested.

Mar sin leat,

Mairi

Hi!
According to EVERYDAY GAELIC by Morag MacNeill,
"Merry Christmas and Happy New Year"is Nollaig chridheil agus
Bliadhna mhath ùr (nolla-eek chree-yell ughuss blee-unnuh va oor)
