SPP switches $3m to Myanmar deal
[SINGAPORE] Construction firm SPP Ltd said yesterday it is diverting some funds from the
$50
million raised from a renounceable rights issue in 1994. About $3 million was intended
for
acquiring 51 per cent of an earthwork equipment leasing company but this has fallen
through.
Instead, it will use the money to invest in Myanmar BPL, involved in granite quarry
operations in
Myanmar.
