Authorities demand data on opposition party - Khin Hnin Htet

Opposition party members in Burma are being forced to divulge personal
details about their families and jobs to intelligence officers, reportedly
on instruction from senior government.

Lists of National League for Democracy (NLD) members in Mandalay division,
Kachin state and Bago division have been drawn up, while birth dates of
divisional members of Mandalay's Chanmyayttharzan township were collected
recently, NLD organizing member Myo Naing said.

"They didn't come openly; local authorities came to ask our dates of
birth," he said. "They said they did it under order of senior authorities.
I saw the list of the names of four to five NLD members in our ward."

Another NLD member in Mandalay division, Tun Tun, said that it was not
clear why surveillance was being stepped up.

"They are mainly collecting [data] in rural areas. In urban areas, they
collect them in satellite towns," he said. "When I asked them they said
they do it under instruction from the top."

In Kachin state's Mohnyin, NLD members are being photographed and told to
answer questionnaires. They are also told to list their siblings, their
addresses and jobs.

At the same time, NLD leaders in Mandalay sent a directive to colleagues
not to reveal data of party members, Mandalay Northwest township MP-elect
Tin Aung Aung said.

Khin Maung Swe, from the NLD's information wing, said that authorities
have no right to collect data.

"It is not in accordance with the law for non-NLD party members to collect
details of party members," he said. "If they did, we will investigate it
and carry out appropriate action."

The Burmese government is preparing to hold elections next year, although
the NLD is yet to announce whether it will participate.

Critics of the government say that the 2008 constitution will entrench
military rule in the country, while detained NLD leader Aung San Suu Kyi
is barred from running for office.

My dear Labor,

Some people were not wrong to call you " Lay bore", you have nothing
but air . you are pissing air all the time. You are a joker after all,
but a good joker.. Sonme other jokers knows more then you, they are
educated. They use their education in a form of jokes, to educate
others, but you are not like that. You hve nothing to educate others
you neither have any education to teach others. The worse thing is you
in the oppsosition back each other up for the sake of opposition SPDC.
You don't know what to oppose, what not to oppose.

" Is it Fair ". It is a nice , question. just to show how ignorant
you are. Why are you so blind I can not understand . I do not know
how much your brain has been fcuked up by who, I could not say.

Let me educate you, take it or leave it, but you as a Myanmar, please
don't bring shame on other Myanmars, There are others who are more
clever than you , morfe educated than you. Don't let any hatred blind
you. That hatred will make you an ignorant.

In this 21 st century , modern world in every modern advance nation.
data is the most important , popular system. personal records,
archives etc.in many names. In Europe, in America in democratic
countries they have the details information of anybody since their
birth , since they registered in school, for national Health, and
registered as worker ,

For immigrants and foreigners since they came into the country. For
the Myanmar , it is something new or a strange thing may be . As far
as Myanmar opposition is concern either they are naive or they are
totally ignorant.

I don't know where you are living , but if you don't believe me. it is
your details , your host government is holding. You can apply for a
copy for yourself. Your employer cannot ask for your data, without
your prior written permission.

DVB purely an opposition radio, is broadcasting from Norway. You are
living outside Myanmar. DVB and you should know better. You should be
familiar with all these things, data information technicality etc.,
Those Myanmar who are working in foreign lands, VOA, BBC, RFA , don’t
they learn anything about this data on human or man powers and other
data ?.

As you all are propagating against SPDC. I can understand what you are
doing. But you not only telling them you are ignorant, but also let
them think we all <Myanmars arfe as ignorant as you. That is heart
breaking.

But the leaders of the western nation who compiled these data , work
with all these data , do you think you and DVB can convince them by
asking them, " is it fair "?

What is 'fair' got to do with data system? They will laugh at you.
that is and then they will stop laughing in time. But what you will
not know is how little they think of you as a Myanmar.
But if they make judgement on Myanmars by saying " Myanmars are still
as ignorant as they are , centuries ago." Its a heart breaking for
me.

Because of your kind of Myanmars who are so ignorant , all others
Myamars have been look down , be little by the west or the advance
modern nation around the world

While you are still outside Myanmar, take the opportunity and learn as
much as you can my boy. Don’t be a bad apple, or a bad fish OK?

To give you the answer on your question of “ is it fair ” , my answer
will, “ yes it is fair very fair , because the authorities in Myanmar
do not want animals, such as bitches and dogs and cows and bull , who
are trying to pretend as human beings and contest in the elections.
The authorities don’t want fake human , bogus human fake democrats,
and fake democracy.

If you are a Buddhist, you should ask a Buddhist Abbot at your nearest
Buddhist Monastery what kind of questions do they ask to those who
would like to be Buddhist Monks or Buddhist Nuns. The would be Monks
or Nuns must be pure human beings, nether absconders trying to escape
from the law, or carry dangerous disease.

Put your question to them , Ask them “ is it fair ”.

Please Labor, you don’t have to like SPDC, you can oppose SPDC . But
please don’t let others think that we Myanmars are fools and stupid
idiots like you and your friends in the opposition.

Sando.
