Chestito Rozdestvo Hristovo i Stastliva Nova 1992 Godina!
It is so nice to have this group. So far there were groups for even
Uganda or Tahiti but not for our European country with 1300 years cultural
tradition.
On Christmas morning a carols singers (koledari) go from door to
door and sing beautiful Christmas songs together with wishes for a healthy and
prosperous new year. Where one can get here Bulgarian Christmas Songs ?
Can anyone post the words of the Christmas Wishes of Survakari?

What are you trying to say by this????????????
Uganda and Tahiti don't have a long cultural tradition.
If *even* Uganda and Tahiti can have their group than of course Bulgaria,
which is in *Europe*, should have its group.
Try to be more careful and educated next time mentioning other fellow
countries on our planet.
I have voted for this group to learn about Bulgaria and I don't like to
see postings like this, because I know this message doesn't reflect
general Bulgarian tradition.

people coming and lecturing others on what to say or how to say it...

Well, I know its easy to start of by calling names like 'dude'. It
sounds a bit cheap to me though. But its a great way to make my message
look like a bunch of frustrated words.
Maybe you'll understand in the long run that there's no freedom without
responsibility. And I focus here on expressing superior feelings like in
the first posting.
In general I do agree with you not to lecture other people, but I felt a
bit sad to read such a superior statement, especially when its not
very direct and in one of the very first postings after the creation of
this group. That's why I responded.
I still hope to learn some nice Bulgarian culture by *reading* this group!

and the good suggestion (Xmas songs). The remark on Uganda etc was
out of place but I believe not ill-hearted. We do not become more
important by neglecting others.
So the reaction of Leon was very timely and just. I do not see it as
lecturing at all.
Let us try to show respect for each other and avoid abuses.
We have seen too many groups quickly deteriorate and lose their audience.
I will try to reproduce a guideline for behavior which I read somewhere:
Be liberal to others and coservative to yourself.

The cultural traditions of "even" Uganda and Tahiti (which apparently have the
ghastly misfortune of being [gasp!] non-European countries) go back even
farther. Here's hoping that such ignorant remarks don't speak for your
1300-year-old cultural tradition.
