Those terrorist "monsters" in the UK surely are polite, aren't they?

The footage shown on the ITV website shows a man, speaking to the
camera, saying: "We must fight them as they fight us. An eye for an
eye, a tooth for a tooth."

He added: "I apologise that women have had to witness this today,
but in our land our women have to see the same. You people will
never be safe. Remove your government, they don't care about you."

The above words can be found in the BBC News report attached below.
After the incident,

Prime Minister David Cameron said the UK would "never buckle" in the
face of terror attacks.

Way to go, Eton boy! (The last count from the Guardian or some UK
newspaper is that 60% of Cameron's men and women were from Eton - and
there is no logical error in my statement even if Eton still does not
admit girls these days.)

Notice that Cameron and his thugs were in Amman, capital of Jordan, to
figure out how to spill more blood in Syria until they get to bring
down the Syrian government just as they and Sarkozy's gang did in
Libya a couple of years ago, reducing Libya to a failed state today,
with not a day passed without fear of more terrorist attacks in that
formerly peaceful country. (Formerly as prior to Hillary Clinton's
"Arab Spring".)

It is always bad when sombody gets hurt whether it is a soldier or a
dark skined person.

But it is totally objectionable to characterize a grievance-related
street knife attack as an act of terrorism as the state itself has
killed with impunity, using bombs, missiles, and drones.

The people in the West should realize that "an eye for an eye" is
ethic that has been passed down since Moses' time, via the ancient
Judeo-CHristian religion.

Muslims are doing exactly what the Jews and many Christians have been
taught to do: "an eye for an eye".

Why can't we tell our governments to stop their attacks against dark
skinned people in Africa and the Muslims in the Middle East? Why do
we have to pass a bill to spend hundreds of millions more - money we
don't have - to fund Syrian "rebels" so as to tear down that country?

Why, why, why are our governments in the West so entrenched in their
hegemony scheme?

Indeed, when MP George Galloway speaks, he is speaking for quite a few
of the British public which is displeased with the West's hegemonic
way today. (See below for some of Galloway's remarks as cited by the
Washington Post's Max Fischer, along with some comments from the
newspaper's readership in response to Fischer's rather hostile
reporting of Galloway's remarks.)

A man has been killed in a machete attack and two suspects shot and
wounded by police in Woolwich, south-east London.

The Met Police said a murder inquiry was being led by its Counter
Terrorism Command. Prime Minister David Cameron said the UK would
"never buckle" in the face of terror attacks.

Footage has emerged showing a man wielding a bloodied meat cleaver and
making political statements.

Police confirmed two men had been arrested in connection with the
murder.

There are unconfirmed reports that the dead man was a soldier.

Both French President Francois Hollande and MP Nick Raynsford said the
dead man had been a soldier at Woolwich barracks.

The footage shown on the ITV website shows a man, speaking to the
camera, saying: "We must fight them as they fight us. An eye for an
eye, a tooth for a tooth."

He added: "I apologise that women have had to witness this today, but
in our land our women have to see the same. You people will never be
safe. Remove your government, they don't care about you."

In developments since the attack, in John Wilson Street, the A205, at
14:20 BST:

Both shot men were taken to hospital, one by air ambulance

One of the men is in a serious condition, the other is also being
treated for injuries

A crowd of 100 - including members of the English Defence League -
gathered in Woolwich town centre and were met with a heavy police
presence including officers wearing riot gear

Downing Street said Mr Cameron, who had been planning to stay in
Paris overnight after meeting the French president, would be returning
to the UK later on Wednesday

At a meeting of the government's emergency response committee,
Cobra, it was decided to tighten security at Woolwich and other
barracks in London

In a joint press conference, Mr Hollande said he wanted to express
his solidarity with the UK after the "murder of a British soldier",
but Mr Cameron did not confirm the victim had been a serviceman

The Ministry of Defence said it was urgently looking into reports
the incident had involved a soldier

Another Cobra meeting will be held on Thursday morning, chaired by
Mr Cameron

Home Secretary Theresa May said she had been briefed by the director
general of Security Service MI5, Andrew Parker, and Metropolitan
Police Commissioner Bernard Hogan-Howe on the "sickening and barbaric"
attack.

Mr Cameron said Britain had faced "these sort of attacks", adding: "We
will never buckle in the face of them.

"People across Britain, people in every community, I believe, will
utterly condemn this attack."

He expressed sympathy for the victim and his family, saying: "It is
the most appalling crime. We are obviously seeking, and the police are
urgently seeking, the full facts about this case."

One witness, identified only as James, said two men had attacked
another man, aged about 20, who was wearing a T-shirt of military
charity Help for Heroes.

"These two guys were crazed. They were just animals. They dragged him
from the pavement and dumped his body in the middle of the road and
left his body there," he told LBC radio.

He said after the "horrendous" attack, the two men, who were also in
their 20s, stood around, waving knives and a gun, and asked people to
take pictures of them "as if they wanted to be on TV or something".

"They were oblivious to anything, they were more worried about having
their photo taken, running up and down the road," he said.

Witness Graham Wilders told the BBC he had arrived on the scene to
find a car crashed into a wall and a man on the ground.

"Two people were lying over him and I thought they were trying to
resuscitate him," he said.

But Mr Wilders said he had driven on to park his car, and when he had
returned another witness had told him the two men had been stabbing
the man on the ground.

Thomas, another witness who contacted the BBC, said: "I got there
minutes after it happened because you could hear gunshots from
Woolwich High Street.

"Basically two men carried out an axe attack on a young army cadet
walking along the street, by the looks of things the police responded
and then shot them in front of the public, at the same time I couldn't
really tell if the cadet was fatally or not hurt as police were
crowded around him."

According to senior Whitehall sources the people carrying out the
attack were heard to say: "Allahu Akbar [God is Great]", BBC political
editor Nick Robinson reported.

Met Police Commissioner Bernard Hogan-Howe said it was "hard to
comprehend the shocking and horrific scenes we have seen this
afternoon on a busy street as Londoners went about their day as
normal".

He said officers would "work tirelessly to uncover why this occurred
and who was responsible".

On Twitter, the Mayor of London Boris Johnson described the attack as
a "sickening deluded and unforgivable act of violence".

Buckingham Palace says the Queen is concerned at the news of the
attack and is being kept informed.

Help for Heroes said the charity was "appalled to hear that a man,
believed to be a serving soldier, has been brutally murdered in
Woolwich today".

The Muslim Council of Britain said in a statement: "This is a truly
barbaric act that has no basis in Islam and we condemn this
unreservedly. Our thoughts are with the victim and his family."

School lock-down

Mr Raynsford, the Woolwich and Greenwich MP, said he had spoken to
local police and understood a number of weapons had been seized at the
scene including a gun, knives, and a machete.

Metropolitan Police Commander Simon Letchford said two alleged
attackers had been shot by officers.

He said: "Police were called to reports of an assault... where one man
was being assaulted by two other men. A number of weapons were
reportedly being used in the attack, and this included reports of a
firearm.

"Officers including local Greenwich officers arrived at the scene, and
shortly after firearms officers arrived on the scene.

"On their arrival at the scene they found a man, who was later
pronounced dead.

"Two men, who we believe from early reports to have been carrying
weapons, were shot by police. They have both been taken to separate
London hospitals. They are receiving treatment for their injuries.

"I can understand that this incident will cause community concerns and
I would like to reiterate that we are investigating the
circumstances."

Meanwhile, the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC)
confirmed it had been informed.

David Dixon, a local head teacher, told the BBC News Channel he walked
out of the school gates and saw a body lying in the road a short
distance away.

He then heard gunshots and instructed staff to lock all the gates of
his school.

An air ambulance landed in the playground and the children were sent
home.

The Met Police said extra officers would remain on duty in the London
borough of Greenwich on Wednesday night.

Analysis Dominic Casciani Home affairs correspondent

The case for this being a jihadist attack, following the ideology of
al-Qaeda, is compelling - even if the police won't yet say so
officially.

If it is, then it would be the first such incident leading to a death
of someone other than the perpetrator since the 2005 London suicide
bombings.

So the first task for ministers and officials is to assess the threat
to the public - are other attacks planned?

The official terrorism threat level is currently "substantial", which
means an attack is "a strong possibility".

If officials raise the level to "severe", that would mean they fear
another attack is highly likely.

If the victim is indeed a soldier, then that will be no surprise to
security chiefs.

Jihadists believe they are at war with the military because of its
role in the Afghanistan conflict and elsewhere.

The UK has previously uncovered three plots linked to possible terror
attacks on the armed forces, including a cell in 2007 which planned to
kidnap and behead a soldier in an Iraq-style hostage video.

British politician compares London machete attack to U.K. policy in
Syria

By Max Fisher, Published: May 22, 2013 at 3:54 pm

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/worldviews/wp/2013/05/22/british-politician-compares-london-attack-to-u-k-policy-in-syria/

A member of the U.K. parliament named George Galloway responded to the
bizarre machete attack in London, which some reports say killed a
British soldier, with a quip on Twitter about U.K. foreign policy.
"This sickening atrocity in London is exactly what we are paying the
same kind of people to do in Syria," he wrote, provoking immediate
controversy.

Galloway, who opposes his country's decision to support some rebel
groups in Syria, seems to be arguing that those rebels are akin to the
machete attackers. While it's not clear why the two men killed a third
in the London neighborhood of Woolwich, one of them later said, with
blood still on his hands, "The only reasons we have done this is
because Muslims are dying every day. This British soldier is an eye
for an eye a tooth for tooth."

Since making his comment, Galloway has been embroiled in a number of
arguments on Twitter over the statement. He has dug in, saying that
both Syrian rebels and the Woolwich attackers are "Al Qaeda
followers. Sickening murderers. The kind we arm and pay for in Syria."
When one Twitter user responded, "I don't think we go up to random
people, run them over, then behead them," Galloway shot back, "no, we
pay Al Qaeda to do so. In Syria."

Western governments have indeed worried that funding intended for
moderate Syrian rebel groups might end up in the hands of extremists,
such as the al-Qaeda-allied group Jabhat al-Nusra. And some rebels
have committed atrocities. Still, it seems a stretch to suggest that
the U.K. government is paying Syrian opposition groups specifically to
kill civilians or that it is seeking to fund al-Qaeda affiliates.

Galloway has a history of controversial remarks on U.K. foreign policy
in the Middle East. In 2003, as the Iraq War divided U.K. politics,
Galloway was formally expelled from the Labour Party on charges of
"inciting Arabs to fight British troops" (the weird wording of that
will be clearer in a moment) and "inciting British troops to defy
orders." Galloway made his offending statements on Abu Dhabi TV, when
he urged British troops to disobey "illegal orders", which he
apparently saw as applying to the entire war, and seemed to suggest
that neighboring Middle Eastern states should come to Iraq's defense.
"Why don't Arabs do something for the Iraqis?" he asked. "Where are
the Arab armies? We wonder when the Arab leaders wake up? When are
they going to stand by the Iraqi people?"

He's also referred to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's regime as
"the last castle of Arab dignity".

Labour Party leader Ed Miliband, after a recent spat with Galloway,
made clear that he will try to unseat him in the next election.

Mr Galloway is right on the mark with this one.

Does anyone have a comparison chart as to how many Muslims that have
been killed by the U.S., England, and Israel in comparison to the
number of Americans, Brits, and Jews killed by Muslims?

I saw an article on that subject some time ago but can't locate it at
the moment but the number was hundreds of Muslims killed for every
non-Muslim.

But what do numbers mean? We good, they bad.

Islam must be destroyed around the world at all costs. Hail to
Breavik. It must start NOW!

[probably in reference to Anders Breavik, the Norwegian fascist who
gunned down scores of young people and felt no remorse about his acts
- kind of like G W Bush and Dick Cheney for their mass murder acts.]

It really does not matter if you dont like what Galoway says, he is an
elected Member of Parliament, British people have voted for him
before, then and now, he is simply expressing what his voters think.

Dick Diamond 4:00 PM PDT

People want to aid the rebels? People want to aid the Jihadists and
Islamists? This is your answer from one of them. This is your
thanks. No American treasure. No American blood. No UK treasure, No UK
blood. Those who want to fight (including the Arizona Hawk and the
South Carolina Hawk), let THEM volunteer and fight for the rebels. But
not on our dime. Not a penny, not a farthing, not a pfenning, not a
kopek.

Dick Diamond 4:12 PM PDT

How many Arab armies like from Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Jordan have
entered the fray? Can you count to -0-? They want to have the west
spend their treasure and their blood before they turn on us as these
Jidhadists did in the UK.

Bestbird 4:30 PM PDT

Just our luck that George Bush got to know Jesus, otherwise I don't
want to even think how many wars he would have started.

Sally Salad 3:40 PM PDT

WOW!!

An innocent man hacked to death in the name of ALLAH??!!

Really??!!

Wake up world!

ISLAM is NOT a religion of peace, whether extremist or conservative.
Can the London Muslim community stand up and denounce this horrific
act please? That could include any and all Muslim communities
throughout the world.

Your silence is deafening. If you don't speak up, you simply widen the
division between your beliefs and those of non-Muslims. It perhaps
will continue the ignorance that exists between diverse faiths.

Khoshal khan 6:07 PM PDT

the slain person beheaded not in the name of ALLAH, but in the name of
west's double standard and imperialistic intentions. if know Jesus
know peace, then all your beloved friends in washington must be non
jesus believers. becuase they don't know peace. Dick Cheneny, George
bush, Barak obama are all know jesus people. STOP pretending you are
peace lover. you should be ashamed of even mentioning peace. you
crying for one person killed in london. while every day dozens of
innocent women and children get killed under Drone attacks in
different countries. and by whom. by your JESUS lovers? and who fund
AL QAIDA for killing and bomb blast in syria? your JESES lovers in
london and washington.

REFLECTIONS ON THE CONCEPT OF POWER: Some quotes to ponder ...

"It was possible, no doubt, to imagine a society in which wealth in
the sense of personal possessions and luxury would be evenly
distributed, while the knowledge remain in the hands of a small
privileged caste. But in practice such a society could not long remain
stable. If all, in fact, enjoyed equally leisure and security, the
great mass of human beings who are normally stupefied by poverty would
learn and learn to think for herself, she then notice it sooner or
later that the privileged minority had no reason to be, and the
sweep. In summary, a hierarchical society was only possible on the
basis of poverty and ignorance. " NEXT ON
