Jinnah's grandson arrives to watch final match
LAHORE: The grandson of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah arrived in
Lahore on Tuesday to watch the fifth and final One Day International
cricket match being played today at the Gaddafi Stadium.
Nusli Wadia, his wife Maureen and their two children were received at
the Lahore Airport by PCB Chairman Shaharyar M Khan.
The PCB chief told journalists that Mr Wadia, who is a Mumbai-based
leading businessman, was visiting Pakistan on PCB's invitation. "I
have long family relations with them and my grandfather was a friend
of the Quaid-e-Azam and we are honoured and happy to have his grandson
with us," he said. Mr Khan said Mr Wadia would visit Karachi on March
25 to visit the mausoleum of his late grandfather to pay homage. He
would leave for Mumbai on March 26 from Karachi.
