I am very glad that this latest EB-MB matched produced so much
excitement in Calcutta. It's time somebody was happy and excited about
anything to do with sports. I wish I could see the match, when EB beat
MB by 5-0, I was a 7 year old kid, I was listening to the radio
commentary, there was no live telecast, I hear that there was no live
telecast this time as well but I could have gone to see the match by
myself.
Some how it still gives me a lot of pleasure when I get to read/hear
anything good about EB, for a few seconds it feels like that I have come
home. Even though EB is no Juventus or Manchester United or Barcelona or
Ajax Amsterdam or whatever, EB is still one of very few precious things
that's left in my mind. Any success of EB is a source of pure joy to me.
So I thank all the players and staff members of East Bengal(EB) who
worked hard to bring us such moments of happiness
in our lives.

I understand that no direct telecast was made. I do not know what was
the reason though.
But nobody even video recorded that match? Recording kore pore nahoi

Your proposal is not commercially viable, also video recording the whole
match will surely have its legal implications. The standard of the game
probably wasn't that good that everyone would like to see it. As for you
and me and some other fanatic supporters, it's definitely a loss ;-)

I don't know about "Kalntimoy" ;-) but East Bengal definitely evokes a
feeling that's nice and warm.

Nope, Manchester United has a red jersey, Ajax and Barcelona both has
red as one of the colours and Juventus is simply Black and White.

I am really optimistic about Baichung, I hope the young boys and girls
take him as a role model. I am not saying Baichung will take Indian
football to any great height or anything but he has talent, something
which is really lacking among his contemopraries. He also has a
commercial appeal which is good, parents in our country probably will be
encouraged to view playing football as a glamourous and economically
rewarding profession.

Actually Shad is not all that bad but people keep complaining(my wife in
my case ;-)) about the smell everytime you try to cook fish.
I am getting sick and tired of shrimp these days, that happens to be the
