Bangla daily newspaper Phatom Alo and the Dutch Bangla Bank Limited
organised the divisional maths festival, Ganit Utsab, at the Noakhali Zilla
School on Saturday
Eight hundred and thirty students of 30 schools and colleges in Feni,
Lakshmipur and Noakhali joined the competition and 60 of them became
winners.
M Ismail, headmaster of the Noakhali Zilla School, chaired the programme.
The Noakhali Science and Technology University vice-chancellor, Abul Khair,
attended as chief guest. The deputy commissioner, Habibul Kabir Chowdhury,
was special guest.
Mohammad Kaykobad, Hamidul Hossain Tareque Bir Bikram among others
addressed the function.
The winners were later handed in certificates.
