->Also, do you folks remember 'Priyo ful khelbar din noi adya, Dhangsher

->saying 'Priyo, ful khelbar din noi adya ...'.

Regarding above, the following come to mind (early '80s) :

Priyo Das Munshir
Komorer ghunsir
Doritare bandhi
Indira Gandhi
Tene kore dilo dur.

Sei sthane Sanjoy
Jano kore ron joy
Holo Nobo jubo neta
Mastan moha shoor.

(Tarpor)

Jei galo Sanjoy
Korbare mon joy
Kata laj nere pher
"Ma"-r pashe ghur ghur.

Another one, from the time when Subroto Mukherjee became famous for the
line (paraphrasing) : ' Boroloker khabar apel, tar dam ato sosta, ar
goriber khabar pe(n)yaj, tar kina ei akash chho(n)ya dam ! Ei sorkar nipat
jak.'

Subroto mukkhu
Goriber jonye
Boro tar dukkhu
Ja bhabuk onye
|
|
(forgotten)
|
|
Guli boma chhora niye
Loot kore Posta
Ene dilo ato boro
Pe(n)yajer bosta.

Can anyone remember the rest ?

Well, I remember Subrata saying in a speech, 'E-i proshonge
Rabindranath balechhilen, Rabindranath balechhilen, Rabindranath ...
ki balechhilen amar mone nei, kintu ...' etc. etc.
