The news coverage of the refusal to return to Belarus and the
application of Tanya Kazyra, age 16, for political asylum in America is
not widespread. Is there anyone who knows how her application is going,
that is, is it successful or unsuccessful?

Does anyone have a feeling as to how her situation compares to the
Belarusian child in Italy in 2005 who took similar actions, resulting in
the one-year suspension of rest/recuperation programs in Italy for 2006.
