While we are discussing some vulgarity on the Net, especially since it

I remembered a joke about Bangali's Hindi.
A Bangal (probably from Dhaka) telling a Bihari laborer
- Hum agu agu jata tum humara pond me pond me ao.
Probably Bangals use the word for a variety of use.
Well enough of that.
Here is another one based on a true incident (courtesy of Shoumyo
Dasgupta and has become immensely popular in Baltimore).
A Bengalibabu goes to Delhi and goes to visit the Red Fort.
After seeing he hires a Rickshaw and asks him to take him to some place
near Kashmiri Gate. The Rickshaw'wala does not understand the Bengali's
Hindi too much but agrees anyway. He plans to make it through Chandni
Chowk (which is a highly crowded place and some of the lanes through
there are very narrow). The Bengalibabu tells the Richshaw'wala 'The
Lane is narrow, why don't you go through some other route'.
But the guy was confident. So the Babu sat tight.
Suddenly everything came to a halt. Nothing was moving. The Babu was
getting angry. Very soon he was boiling. But he did not know what to
say. After a while he simply burst out and this is what he said -
"Itna chchota goli -
Tokhon itnabar poi-poi korke bola
Itna chchota goli me mat ghusho.
Ekhon ghushechcho to ghushechcho ekhon Bojhjho thela."
(It is more funny when you speak it - probably in Tathagata's style).
