It is unclear where and when police arrested the woman
Police in Jordan say they have arrested a woman suspected of having
wanted to blow herself up in a series of suicide bombings in Amman.
Police say the Iraqi woman is the wife of one of three Iraqi male
suicide bombers who attacked three hotels on Wednesday, killing 57
people.
Deputy Prime Minister Marwan Muasher said she was also the sister of a
dead key aide to Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.
Zarqawi's al-Qaeda in Iraq group has claimed responsibility for the
attacks.
The three Iraqi bombers, who died in the attacks, were identified as
Ali Hussein Ali al-Shamari, from Anbar province, Rawad Jassem Mohammed
Abed, 23, and Safaa Mohammed Ali, 23.

The woman was identified as Sajida Mubarak Atrous al-Rishawi, 35, and
she was married to al-Shamari.
Mr Muasher said she was the sister of Mubarak Atrous al-Rishawi, a
Zarqawi lieutenant who was killed by US forces in Falluja.
Struggle
Speaking at a press conference, Mr Muasher showed reporters photographs
of a suicide bomb belt packed with ball bearings that the would-be
bomber was said to have been wearing at the time of the attacks.
He said she would make a statement on Jordanian television later in the
day.
The woman is due to give more details about the bombings
She is suspected of having been involved in the preparation of the
attack on the Radisson hotel. The Grand Hyatt and Days Inn in Amman
were also hit in the bombings.
Mr Muasher said that the husband and wife, dressed as though they were
going to a party, entered a ballroom at the Radisson where a wedding
reception was being held, wearing explosives belts under their clothes.
She failed to detonate hers after apparently struggling with its primer
cord, Mr Muasher said. Noticing the woman struggling, her husband asked
her to leave and then blew himself up.
The four Iraqis are said to have entered Jordan by car on 5 November.
They rented an apartment in a suburb of Amman a couple of days later.
They took taxis from the apartment to their targets on the day of the
bombings.
