I am astounded to learn that Road 27, Dhanmandi has been named after
sheikh Kamal. I cannot understand how a person who indulged in
looting, bank hold-ups, intimidation of people at gun point and misuse
of his father's position stands to qualify for any thing being named
after him. It was bad enough when the Womens Sports Complex in
Dhanmondi was named after Sultana Kamal.
Throughout the world roads, buildings and centres are named after
people who have contributed to the nation through hard work and bear
good character.


Mayor Hanif and his followers have placed the last straw to break the
camel's back! How much more can the public take of such unprincipled
behaviour? Where roads are named after Maulana Bhashani, Kamal Ataturk
and Rokeya Sakhawat, how does Sheikh Kamal feature? What did he do?
Naming a main avenue of Dhaka after such a person is an insult to our
good senses and judgement.

We have 7 Bir Sreshta's - each and everyone of them are more qualified than anybody in Mujib's family to be recognized as renaming streets after them.

Sheikh Kamal was a low life thug. Him and his entourage are responsible for murder, rape, kidnapping, bank robbery, government tender loot, bribery, illegal arms possesion, etc.
His marriage to his wife Sultana Kamal was also kidnapped at gunpoint. Kamal had already kidnapped Sultana and she refused to marry him.
Then Kamal had Mujib request Sultana's hand in marriage from Sutana's father. Like an irresponsible and pathetic father that he is Mujib went along enabling Kamal after such uncivilized and criminal act.
And Sultana's father "reluctantly" agreed at the request of the Prime Minister of Bangladesh.
Does Hasina think that people are going to forget the atrocities of her family if she repeats the lies enought times to make herself belive to be true???

When Hasina has all these rhetoric about law and justice - does she forget that her criminal brother Kamal was chasing Shiraj Sikhdar with open weapon in the streets of Dhaka. Or Hasina, with her AL filter selective nurturing her ignorance???
What happened to the killers of Shiraz Shikder?
