It is no secret to the reader of Western media that Putin poisoned/
killed Yuschenko, Politkovskaya, Litvinenko and probably Presidents
Kennedy and Lincoln.

The Western press made no bones about these crimes of Putin. While
there was not a shread of evidence, they used the famous Western logic
to mathematically prove Putin's role. It started with the poisoning of
Yuschenko. The mathematical proof went like this:

All Russians are criminals. Ergo, Putin is a criminal.

What crimes is he guilty of? Poisoning of Yuschenko. Why? Yuschenko is
a political antipode of Putin. Yuschenko was poisoned. Ergo, it was
Putin who did it.

Irrefutable logic.

After that proof, proving that Putin killed Politkovskaya, Litvinenko
and probably Presidents Kennedy and Lincoln was trivial:

Putin poisoned Yuschenko. Ergo, he killed all others.

Simple NATO logic and Western boob-tube common sense.

Well, now it turns out that Yuschenko was poisoned by.... his best
friend, his election organiser, Ukrainian parliamentarian, minister of
emergencies and anti-Russian political activist:

Ukraine President Blames Ex-friend David Zhvania For '04 Poisoning

KIEV (AFP)--Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko said Thursday he
believed a former friend was behind the poisoning that disfigured his
face and almost killed him during his 2004 election.

Asked during a televised press conference whether David Zhvania, the
godfather of his youngest son, was responsible for the poisoning,
Yushchenko said: "I think yes. And that is putting it softly."

Then a presidential election candidate against Moscow-backed rival
Viktor Yanukovych, Yushchenko fell seriously ill on Sept. 6, 2004.
Austrian doctors three months later said it was dioxin poisoning.

The incident helped foment Ukraine's Orange Revolution protests with
which Yushchenko and his allies overturned the result of a rigged
election that initially gave Yanukovych as the winner.

On Wednesday, Yushchenko deputy Igor Pukshin pointed the finger at
Zhvania, who has been questioned by prosecutors as a witness, saying
"he insisted on organizing the dinner...after which Yushchenko fell
ill."

Zhvania, now a deputy for a pro-Yushchenko party, has denied his
former friend was poisoned with dioxin, telling the BBC last month he
was the victim of food poisoning and pancreatitis.

On Tuesday, Yushchenko - whose face is still disfigured by the
poisoning - was himself questioned about the poisoning by prosecutors
for over four hours. He said the investigation was coming to an end
and that "amazing things" would be unveiled when it ends.

Yushchenko: My Friend Poisoned Me

Ukrainian president Viktor Yushchenko has named the person he believes
poisoned him - saying it was a close friend and godfather to one of
his children.

Mr Yushchenko fell ill during the closely fought 2004 election when he
narrowly beat pro-Russian candidate Viktor Yanukovych.

His face was severely disfigured although his skin has made
significant improvements since.

At a news conference Mr Yushchenko named David Zhvania, a member of a
pro-presidential parliamentary faction, as having been involved.

The announcement represents a sharp departure from the president's
previous policy of refusing to identify those he believes to have been
responsible.

Mr Yushchenko fell gravely ill after attending a dinner with Mr
Zhvania which was hosted by two top security officials. Doctors later
diagnosed his illness as severe dioxin poisoning.

The pro-Western president has consistently said he knew who was
responsible for the poisoning but did not want to name them while an
investigation continued.

Poison left Yushchenko disfigured

But Mr Zhvania has angered Mr Yushchenko by claiming earlier this
summer that the president suffered only from food poisoning and that
his staff invented a politically motivated attack to boost his
popularity during the Orange Revolution that accompanied the 2004
presidential campaign.

Asked at a news conference whether he thought Mr Zhvania took part in
the poisoning, Mr Yushchenko answered: "I think yes, to put it
mildly."

Prosecutors said this week that they had failed to find any suspects.
But after being questioned by prosecutors earlier this week, Mr
Yushchenko hinted the investigation would produce some "very
unpleasant" surprises.

The president has accused Moscow of stalling the investigation by
refusing to extradite key figures in the case and provide Russian-made
dioxin for testing.

Yushchenko came to power in Orange Revolution

Many people in Ukraine point the finger at Russia, because Mr
Yushchenko was running against a Kremlin-backed candidate and because
Russia is one of the few countries that produces the dioxin of the
formula found in his body.

Mr Zhvania fell out with Mr Yushchenko shortly after he became
president following a wave of mass protests in 2004 which came amid
allegations that the pro-Russian Mr Yanukovych had rigged the
elections.

The dispute has led Mr Yushchenko's office to seek to strip Mr
Zhvania, an ethnic Georgian, of his Ukrainian citizenship.

Mr Zhvania's party said in a statement that the actions were illegal
and that he is suing Ukrainian authorities in the European Court of
Human Rights.

David Zhvania, Emergencies Minister

Author: Serhii SLEDZ

David Zhvania, who was one of the bursars in the Yushchenko election
team, is now Minister for Emergencies. This is his first governmental
position.

David Zhvania was born in 1967. He has a higher education in economics
and belongs to no political party. He was elected to Parliament in
2002 on the Our Ukraine party list (his number in the election roll
was 33) and chaired the subcommittee for the fight against organized
crime and corruption.

But that was nothing to what Zhvania felt when he had to surrender his
top position in the Yushchenko election staff. Just as the
presidential race was getting into full swing, the chief of staff
Roman Bezsmertny and his deputy David Zhvania ceded their positions to
Olexandr Zinchenko and Alexander Tretyakov respectively.

To Zhvania’s credit, he swallowed his pride and went on working in a
new field - the Maidan [Kyiv’s Independence Square, the site of mass
protest actions during the Orange Revolution]. Bezsmertny was the
Maidan’s formal superintendent. Zhvania was its actual steward, who
managed the tents, mattresses, food supplies, transportation, toilets,
etc. Even the fireworks at the Maidan that inspired optimism and
confidence were Zhvania’s gifts.

So after Zhvania said few months ago that there was no poisoning but
Yushchenko has a serious and carefully guarded illness he followed the
usual path - his Ukrainian citizenship is in process being revoked and
now he is accused to be the very Venomous Snake. Very clever by the way
- Zhvania has nowhere to escape but Russia - the West would extradite
him or will not allow in. So? Blame Putin again!
That said - who cares - Putin's team lives by the rule - "To live better
is the best revenge". They are making money and the world trust them.
Funny how these endless failed attacks on Russia and Putin make the both
just more popular.

So Zhvania now became a Russian? No wonder that Yushchenko now blames
him for his "poisoning".
This is a good start to find out who and why believes what.

No. By "russian" version he probably means the version, espoused by
Yuschenko and the Uke detectives handling the poisoning case. They
blame Zhvania.

By "everybody else" he means the CIA and MI5/6 who are upset at
Yuschenko for no longer blaming Putin and at Dow Jones Newswires and
Murdoch's Sky News for reporting the truth about Yuschenko and Zhvania
to the Western readers.

many questions surround yushchencko and his poison but most people have
moved on from the lugovoy thing because they have accepted the fact that the
fsb was behind it; whether it's the truth or not.

That's the point. Most people (in the West) have also moved on from
the Yuschenko poisoning because they have accepted the fact, told to
them by the Western media, that the fsb was behind it; whether it's
the truth or not. But now the truth comes out that FSB had nothing to
do with the Yuschenko poisoning, just as it will soon come out that
Litvinenko was poisoned because he and his co-conspirators Kovtun,
Scaramella and Lugovoy mishandled the polonium that they were
smuggling out of Russia. That's just as obvious as it was obvious
that Yuschenko had been poisoned at Zhvania's party.

What is most disgusting in this story is not the Western assumption
that FSB had poisoned Yuschenko but the fact that Yuschenko knew from
day one that it was Zhvania and not FSB but kept his mouth shut for
several years. In fact, Yuschenko won the presidential elections that
year because his people blamed his opponent Yanukovich of being part
of the Russian conspiracy to poison Yuschenko. Lying sure pays.

"Truth or not" you mean lie? People "accepted" lie? That lie was imposed
on people by garbage scavengers like Lucas and obviously directed from
the top as it was with Iraq WMDs. CNN made a special program which was
full of it. As they did before Iraq.
Anyway, I am ready to be given another lecture on wonders of "free"
media in "democratic" countries.

Describe your JOY of being malicious to Russians (Criminal Minds have
everything in reverse)

If Khodorkovsky had been in charge of Russia, Russia would not have
been criminal.

Same with Kasparov.

That is, because THOSE Russians, are decent people.

But Putin is a very severely Criminal Mind, as the poster also knows
very well, which is why he, Putin "has to be defended" by blackening
others, and THEREFORE, Russia is criminal, if you like to express it
that way.
Those posters who "defend" Putin, are equally intensely malicious or
Criminal Minds, or their mental slaves (Destructive Cowards).

Absolutely. The most puzzling piece is the fact that Kovtun had spread
Polonium all over Hamburg on his visit there 4 days before Litvinenko
got poisoned.

How come Kovtun never got sick?
How many polonium capsules, worth $20 million each, were
"accidentally" broken during that affair?
How come the Brits never indicted Kovtun?
With whom did Litvinenko meet first on that day: Scaramella or Lugovoi/
Kovtun? I suspect, the former. Then how did Scaramella get poisoned?

We know they did: first, Kovtun broke a capsule and spread the
contents all over the taxis and houses in Hamburg. Then the same thing
happened all over London and airlines.

You really don't have to get polonium on your hands in order to pour
it from a capsule and into Litvinenko's drink.

Well, that was my original point in the original post that started
this thread.

The poisoning of Yuschenko is now a solved and closed case. The
Ukrainian investigators say it was Yuschenko's best friend and one of
the fathers of the Orange Revolution David Zhvania who poisoned
Yuschenko. Yuschenko held a press conference saying that he has always
known it was Zhvania.

Yet, you still religiously beleive that they are all lying and that it
was FSB. If not for the vicious unfounded russophobia, that permeates
the western propaganda and your mind, what evidence do you have that
Yuschenko and Ukrainian investigators are lying about Zhvania and
covering up for FSB? What evidence do you have about FSB's involvement
in this case, other than the Western media's mode of operation of
blaming FSB for EVERYTHING that happens in Europe?

So, tell us, on what evidence are you basing your religious conviction
that FSB did it and that Yuschenko and all Ukrainian police are lying
to protect FSB?
