I think it's more than odd that he disappeared from SCB just a day before
the AF-447 crash. Topolski's last post here was on May 30th. The flight took
off from Rio on May 31st.

Is it vacation time in Brazil?
Another possibility is that he had friends or relatives on that flight and
is now too depressed to participate in our meaningless exchange of niceties.

He has mentioned before that he is not interested in conversation
unless it is an argument, yet his arguments weren't intersting to

Judging from his posts, I'd say he's around 35, +/- 5 years. I would judge
the likelihood that we lost him in that AF disaster to be clearly more than

Last year wasn't particularly exciting in this group.
I think it gradually dropped off when Stinky Pete (Brookski) left.

only one Russian name, which represents one Russian citizen on that
flight. Mir is a German national of Russian descent who has a Russian

I would still be worried - there are a lot of ways to get hurt in
Brazil other than on an outgoing Air France flight....

Well, as I know from my friend who works closely with Brazil group and
spends there a lot of time every year - that Academia/University
campuses are as safe there as everywhere.

The list is not complete. There were actually 28 Germans on the flight.
When that list was published, the assumed number of German victims was
still 26. Besides, your list has only 204 names. The total number of
victims was 228.
