can you help me with translation to English:
Kuidas näevad meid kauge tuleviku arheoloogid?
Leiud väljakaevamistelt.
Какими увидят нас археологи далёкого будущего?
Находки археологических раскопок.
I'm preparing some funny things to City Museum of Tallinn, one of them
is stand with "archaelogical findings" from our time: scientists of
future had find some artefacts from our time but they are in trouble
with interpreting them. my ordinary "Englishman" is abroad so I ask
for your help here :-)

Now I know that Nakhodka really means something! For me it was only the end
of the line (through Siberia).

Background: Swedish fortification tunnels from 1500-1600 were opened
and cleaned recently near Kiek-in-de-Kök cannon tower. ost of tunnels
will show exposition about Tallinn's military past, but one 100m
tunnel is mine - relaxing programme "Future of Tallinn". Well, as I
don't know for sure what future will bring for us, it's mostly a bit
sarcastic fun.
They plan to open at Dec 15. Come to see, if in Tallinn after that
time! And I still owe a beer or two to you for your book.

Just let's wait till Dec 15 to see if they will be really ready :-)
There will be an undergroung train in "my" tunnel and train builders
are a bit in problems. But I keep you informed about things here.

Through what lens archaeologists of the distant future will be looking
at us.
Credit not mine - I just put it in understandable English and ask
aborigines to give me a digestible version.

It would be clearer if the translation, like the Estonian original,
avoided the passive:
How will the archeologists of the distant future see us?
(Note: American spelling 'archeologists', British spelling: archaeologists)
Finds from an excavation.
(If you are emphasizing that everything on display is from one particular
excavation site.)
Finds from the excavanation.
(If you have established a wider context and are now displaying finds as
opposed to providing something else such as the historical background of
the site or the process of recovering the finds, cf. the Vasa Mudeum in
Stockholm.)

If you want a close translation that is also idiomatic English, then the
best solutions are:
(T1) How will the archeologists of the distant future see us?
or John's original proposal, but with the indefinite article before
'future' changed to a definite one because in English we normally speak of
'the' distant furure, not 'a' distant future, since 'a' implies seceral
different alternative futures rather than the one linearly progressing one
that actually emerges:
(T2) How will we be seen by the archeologists of the distant future?
Your proposal (T3) is quite good, but it has a slight problem:
(T3) We in the eyes of the archeologists of the distant future.
(T3) males a strong statement, as though this is how we know that the
archeologists of the future are going to see us, while the Estonian
original was somewhat more tentative, implying that the exhibit will
contribute to the picture that the archeologists of the future will have
of us.
Note that (T3) would better correspond to an Estonian source text:
(S') Meie kauge tuleviku arheoloogide silmades.
Compared to the original (S), (T3) and its back translation (S') emphasize
'we/meie' too much, while neglecting the original's idea that we are
dealing with a possible alternative (kuidas?/how?) rather than with a
statement of fact, the difference between 'This is how they are going to
see us' and 'How will they see us?'.

Marsians will see our Earth?" - no real sci here, just entertainment.
