Hello,

Does anybody knows where I can find Latvian fonts, preferably Microsoft
True Type fonts? I don't speak Latvian myself, but I've got a MS Word
file (version 6.0) written in Latvian with a font called Baltic Times.
When I try to print it, it doesn't present the correct Latvian
characters.

Any information is appreciated.

See
<http://www.deksoft.com.au/>
for Baltic fonts.
You'll find both free and commercial fonts for Windows and Macintosh.

Get the Pan European language pack for Windows 95, or use the built in
Baltic fonts in Windows NT.

Hello Andreas,

Thanks for the information. I've found a few Baltic fonts in the
mentioned Web-address, but it seems like the fonts I've found are
Estonian and Livian fonts. What I'm really looking for are Latvian fonts
and especailly a True Type font called "Balt Times". Does anybody knows
where to find this particular font?

Håkan

Latvian Times is available on:

ftp://yf...@www-vms.uoregon.edu/fonts/latvian/times.zip

and other Latvian fonts on:

ftp://yf...@www-vms.uoregon.edu/fonts/latvian/latwin.zip

The problem with the Times font is that you have to remove your
regular Times font in order to use it, because it has exactly the same
name, with nothing to identify it as Baltic.

Look at Web page: http://babel.uoregon.edu/yamada/fonts/latvian.html
