If you want to enjoy a good laughter and to see how stupid russophobes
are, nothing can beat reading La Russophobe. She has this uncanny
ability to turn every news into an apocalyptic story on how Russia is
about to ex- and im-plode. Here is the latest in her “horror”
stories:

http://larussophobe.wordpress.com/2009/11/24/editorial-russia-and-its-future/#comment-61741

In this editorial, she displays a chart showing how the use of TV,
internet and other rmedia changes with the age of the rerspondent.
And, as you would expect, the younger the age group – the more they
use the internet.

Now, you may ask yourself: “Why is this big news? Isn’t it true of ALL
countries that the younger generations are more and more internet-
bound?”

Well, let me show he LR twists it:

------------------------------------------
EDITORIAL: Russia and its Future

The chart above is translated from the Russian website Rumetrika and
shows the source of information relied upon by Russian young people
aged 16-26. Horrifyingly, the graphic shows that the older a Russian
gets, the less he relies upon the Internet and the more he relies upon
TV.

So much for the bizarre notion that the Internet can save Russia.
--------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes, friends, the fact that teenagers in Russia rely on the Internet
more than slightly older people – that’s “horrifying” and “bizarre”.
And the fact that younger Russians use the Internet more and more -
that's horrible news for Russia. Evidently, Russia cannot be saved
because its youngsters use Internet....

Need I say more?

What is also interesting is that 51% of Russian teenagers rely on the
Internet for information; while despite all evidence to the contrary,
LR still claims in editorial after editorial after editorial that
almost nobody in Russia has access to the Internet and thus young
Russians don’t have access to objective information, and she even
banned several people who provided sources that say otherwise.

The latest article from our "genius' La Russophobe:

http://larussophobe.wordpress.com/2009/11/28/special-extra-blood-on-the-russian-rails/#more-18793

At 9:30 pm Moscow time on Saturday, the Nevsky Express high-speed
train bound from Moscow for St. Petersburg derailed. RIA was
reporting that two dozen had been killed and 90 injured, and
indicating that “the death toll could rise as new bodies were being
taken out of the deformed railroad cars.” 32 passengers were reported
missing. Nearly 700 people were on the train.

Quoting an anonymous source in “law enforcement,” RIA Novosti also
reported on the cause of the derailment: “Preliminarily, an explosion
occurred under the ninth car,” it stated. “There was a clap. The last
two cars almost fell apart. I’ve seen such things only in movies,” a
passenger named Alexander told the newswire.

Once again, it is difficult to know which is more horrifying, that the
tragedy was caused by predictable Russian incompetence which the
government is seeking to cover up by blaming it on terrorists, or that
it was caused by an open assault from Islamic separatists or
nationalist fanatics which the Kremlin is unable or unwilling to
control. Either way, no thinking person can fail to appreciate the
damning proof of inadeqacy(sic) on the part of the Putin regime that
incidents of this kind respresent(sic). Unfortunately, the Russian
electorate is not rich in thinking people.(sick)

-----------------------

This is exactly like writing:

Early on the morning on September 11, 2001, two airliners crashed into
the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, killing
everyone on board and many others working in the buildings. There were
2,976 deaths and 6,000+ injuries.

Once again, it is difficult to know which is more horrifying, that the
tragedy was caused by predictable American incompetence which the
government is seeking to cover up by blaming it on terrorists, or that
it was caused by an open assault from Islamic fanatics which the White
House is unable or unwilling to control. Either way, no thinking
person can fail to appreciate the damning proof of "inadeqacy" on the
part of the Bush regime that incidents of this kind "respresent".
Unfortunately, the American electorate is not rich in thinking people.

Sure. But now that Sharapova is semi-injured, LR barks at all Russian
female players.
