Premier Anna Bligh will lead a trade mission to the United States of
America to personally support Queensland industry's participation in
the famous G'Day USA promotion.
Ms Bligh said the six day trade mission in mid January would focus on
a wide range of sectors where Queensland has developed strong
exporting capabilities and potential for the US market.
"Being in the US for leave at this time gives me the opportunity to
participate in G'Day USA and to aggressively promote opportunities for
Queensland in the world's biggest economy as it starts to emerge from
recession," Ms Bligh said.
