Well, it has finally happened. George "Nero" Bush has pushed the U.S.
economy to the brink of depression and, ultimately, the world economy.

His narrow-mindedness and vengeful attitude have mortgaged this
country's future so much that the Treasury is most likely the next
foreclosure victim.

Talk about a sub-prime mess. Even the lenders going belly up would not
have qualified his policies for a mortgage. But he had a complicit
Congress that allowed him to bypass common sense while forgetting
their responsibility to us.

Even with a Democratic Congress, the mess cannot be straightened out
as he keeps using the threat of vetos that cannot be overridden to
stop legislation that could help. It is a shame that he is allowed to
propose items relating to the economy when he does not understand the
word.

When history records the events leading to the fall of the Bush
Empire, né the United States of America, the buck will stop at Dubya
Bush's feet. I did not think it would happen for hundreds of years,
but as he is ahead of his time, I fear it will happen during my son's
lifetime.
