Florida has giant toothy lizards. Northern USA has
giant bears and hostile moose. Oz has 6-foot rodents
built like professional boxers on steroids - and
just as prone to aggression.

A 'roo will punch you in the head, wrestle you, and
can deliver death in a single kick. They are tough
and not easily deterred.

By reports, there are either MORE 'roos these days
and/or they are moving more into human areas and/or
they are getting more aggressive. This is hardly
the only story about battles with 'roos.
