Though books may say this. Though college professors may teach this.
This is not true! It may be a point of view, fostered upon those from
this region of the world by a White popuilation of people...trying to
understand the world and to make some sense of it (for themselves!)
In the region of Asia (perhaps I should distinguish Asia from South Asia
or India), people are generally speaking...ALL THE SAME (basically).
A Chinese person, a Japanese person, and Korean resemble each other enough
genitically to make that statement. And their histories intertwine from
ancient times. In Asia, China, there are minority groups, but they are
still Asian.
INDIA IS DIFFERENT...Very Much Different from China...for example!
Philosophy wise, genetics, thinking patterns, approach to life, personal
tolerance, etc. They are NOT Asian ethnically...THEY are INDIAN!!!
: I don't see what the arguement is about.
Neither do I, but some Indians that post here seem to think they are
Asian...(1) if they were to look in a mirror, they should be able to see
the very distinct difference...and (2) I truthfully don't know why any
ethnic group would want to claim to be what they are not.
I would NEVER screem my head off and say I'm "White," when I'm not! I am
Asian, my skin is yellow and not white!
