You're affiliated with Upenn in some way? Ho boy how depressing!

This is a Cultural gathering guy, Though at times that would be hard to
notice. On occasion, we even do manage to get away from racists like
smart66, Aryan moron, Cedric the coward, and Barney the Dinosaur. Nto that
Barney's a racist but I try to avoid anyone who sings that damned theme
song!

But to spare you the flames that I'm sure will accompany your post...look in
the single/couples NG's dude...I'm sure it'll be much more welcome there.

Arrivederci!

When the Chinese are a diverse people, how am I able
to judge them collectively? I don't judge 'people',
and rarely judge an individual. And I only make friends
with individuals, never to a 'people'.

Sounds good, but exactly what is 'good morality'? Morality
is as diverse as the 'people'. I sort of know your meaning
but not 100%.

Dear brother Eng,

I admire your loyalty to the Chinese cause. I
want to say that it is not misplaced. But, I
interpret Mr. GJ remarks differently from you.

I think Mr. GJ, on the surface, appears to be a
nice American gentleman...judging by American
standards. What he wants is to get to "know" a
nice Chinese girl. In someway, for Americans,
this is a compliment to Chinese women...that they
are sweet, nice and desirable. Other Americans
are of the solid Christian bent, though, and
sometimes we shouldn't judge too fast nor solely
by our own yardstick. Though Chinese may agree
with you.

I would not be harsh on anyone, but see any flaw
or fault, not rather with them...but with us!

I am not saying each and every American is an
ugly ogre, but I am saying that we (Chinese) as
a people are judged solely by what we collectively
do and think.

I like you am for good morality.

Very Sincerely,

I don't know, Mr. Chow. I think many Americans would also agree that
this GJ guy is a pathetic little man.
