They should enact a similar law in India. Every morning
millions of Indians' sleep gets interrupted by the baying
of the muezzins all over the country.

In India sound pollution is terrible. Loudspeakers in open space need
to be banned completely.

In the West the way Ambulances and Police Cars make terrible rackets.
The latter even kill people driving uncontrollably.

Yeah, the current vote was on whether or not to have a referendum.
Despite the government's opposition to a referendum, the Swiss voters
have decided to have one.

Now the money will start flowing to help voters "(re)think" more
clearly, and there will be shrill cries about "baboon rights," freedom
of religion and expression (baboons are owed this even if the jungles
they came from don't have that for humans that live there - "divine
sanction," of course), blah, blah...

The poor Swiss have to worry about their international "image" and their
financial bottom line too. ;-)

Now if they can ban all Muslims from living within the Swiss
Confederation, it would indeed become a paradise on earth.

Were the Moslems in Switzerland willing to compromise on this
issue? I'm sure if they had promised to yodel from the top of their
minarets, the Swiss wouldn't have voted against them.
