performedthe duties of director of the Agency for Renewal
and Developmentin the Government of the Republic of Macedonia since 16th
March1999.

Milijana B. Danevska, minister of trade:

Born on 3rd December 1960 in Bitola. Graduated from the LawFaculty in
Bitola in 1983, and earned a master's degree
and adoctorate at the Legal Faculty in Skopje in 1994 and
1996,respectively. She served as deputy minister of science
in thegovernment of the Republic of Macedonia during 1994-1998 and
hasheld the job of minister of development since
30th November1999.

Trajko Slaveski, minister of development:

Born on 22nd September 1960 in Ohrid. Graduated from theEconomic Faculty
in Skopje in 1983 and earned a
doctorate fromthe same institution in 1997. After graduating, he worked
at theEconomic Faculty in Skopje, beginning in
1984 as a juniorassistant, then an assistant, and has been on the staff
since1998.

Dusko Kadievski, minister of urban planning and construction:

Born on 20th May 1950 in Skopje. Graduated from the ArchitectureFaculty
in Skopje in 1979. He has served as
minister of urbanplanning and construction in the Government of the
Republic ofMacedonia since 30th November 1998.

Toni Popovski, minister of the environment:

Born on 20th September 1966 in Skopje. Graduated from theArchitecture
Faculty in Skopje in 1994. Minister
withoutportfolio in the government of the Republic of Macedonia
during30th November 1998-21st January 1999. He
has served as ministerof the environment in the government of the
Republic ofMacedonia since 21st January 1999.

Bobi Spirkovski, minister of communications and transport:

Born on 23rd April 1956 in Skopje. Graduated from the LawFaculty in
Skopje in 1980. He has held the position of
ministerof communications and transportation in the government of
theRepublic of Macedonia since 30th November
1998.

Marjan Gjorcev, minister of agriculture, forestry and watersupply:

Born on 4th November 1956 in Kavadarci. Graduated from theEconomic
Faculty in Skopje in 1982. He has served as
director ofthe Agency for Privatization in the Republic of Macedonia
sinceJanuary 1999 and has held the position of
minister ofagriculture, forestry, and water supply in the government of
theRepublic of Macedonia since 19th May 1999.

Bedredin Ibrahimi, minister of labour and social policy:

Born on 25th October 1952 in Mala Recica in the Tetovo region.Graduated
from the Law Faculty in Pristina in 1976.
He hasserved as a deputy prime minister and as minister of labour
andsocial policy in the government of the Republic of
Macedoniasince 30th November 1998.

Gale Galev, minister of education:

Born on 9th February 1945 in the village of Sacevo in theStrumica
region. Graduated from the Law Faculty in Skopje
in1968 and received a doctorate from the same institution in 1989.He has
been an associate [vonreden] professor at the
Law Facultyin Skopje since 16th January 1995.

Georgi Boev, minister for youth and sports:

Born on 18th April 1935 in Ohrid. Graduated from the High Schoolof
Physical Education in Belgrade in 1961 and
completed master'sdegree and a doctorate at the Faculty of Physical
Education inSkopje in 1982 and 1990, respectively.
Minister withoutportfolio in the government of the Republic of Macedonia
during30th November 1998-21st January
1999. He has served as ministerfor youth and sports in the government of
the Republic ofMacedonia since 21st January

Born on 29th May 1953 in Belgrade. Graduated from the MedicalFaculty in
Skopje in 1980 and earned a doctorate in
the field ofmedical sciences. He has served as minister of health since
19thMay 1999.

Ljuben Paunovski, minister of culture:

Born on 19th October 1958 in Prilep. Graduated from thePhilosophical
Faculty in Skopje in 1984 after specializing
inarcheology and art history. He has served as a representative inthe
Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia since 2nd
December1998 and is the coordinator of the representatives' group of
theVMRO-DPMNE [Internal Macedonian
RevolutionaryOrganization-Democratic Party for Macedonian National
Unity].

Martin Trenevski, minister of emigration:

Born on 31st May 1949 in Skopje. Graduated from thePhilosophical Faculty

the Institute for Sociological and Legal-Political Research.He has
served as minister for information in the government
ofthe Republic of Macedonia during 1991-1993 and as ministerwithout

Vehbi Bexheti, minister for information:

Born on 14th February 1949 in the village of Vesalo in theTetovo region.
Graduated from the Philosophical Faculty in
1973,earned a master's degree in 1994, and a doctorate at
thePhilosophical Faculty in Tirana in 1996. Since 1999 he has
beenthe director of the "Iljo Antevski-Smok" House of Culture inTetovo.

Vasil Tupurkovski, minister without portfolio:

Born on 8th April 1951 in Skopje. Graduated from the Law Facultyin
Skopje in 1972 and received a master's degree in
comparativelaw at the Law Department at the University of Michigan and
adoctorate in the field of international public
law at the LawFaculty in Skopje in 1976. He has been Director of the
