Many of the most beloved and gifted Africans in the world are
homosexuals/bisexuals. They are stars like Meshell Ndegeocello, Billie
Holiday, Alice Walker, Alvin Ailey, Essex Hemphill, James Baldwin, Bayard
Rustin, Alberta Hunter, Johnny Mathis, Bessie Smith, Moms Mabley, Lorraine
Hansberry, Alice Dunbar Nelson, Audre Lorde, Langston Hughes, and many more.

No one can ever proclaim the sexuality of celebrities except their
respective lovers. But, we can all dream can't we? Just imagine, if by
chance, hundreds of the stars you adore held a press conference today to
come out of their sexual closets. What if the following celebs attended?:
Whitney Houston, Johnny Gill, Arsenio Hall, Tevin Campbell, Mark Curry,
Shirley Caesar, Marsha Warfield, Luther Vandross, M C Lyte, Joyce Irby,
Bernadette Cooper, Haki Madhubuti, Imiri Baraka, Spike Lee, Ralph Tresvant,
Prince, Al Jarreau, Tracy Chapman, Babyface, Barry Bonds, Thomas Mikal Ford,
Will Smith, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Jada Pinkett, Magic Johnson, Isaiah Thomas, Brett
Walker, Queen Latifah, Tyson Beckford, Raphael Saadiq, Leon, Malik Yoba,
Michael DeLorenzo, D. L. Hughley, Shawn Wayans, Alphonso Ribero, Martin
Lawrence, Al B Sure, Anita Hill, Devante, Christopher Williams, T-Boz, Toni
Braxton, Eddie Murphy, Grant Hill, Shemar Moore, Reggie Jackson, Bernie
Williams, Chris Rock, Maxwell, Janet Jackson, LaToya Jackson, Boss, Thea
Vidal, Snoop Doggy Dogg, Keith Washington, Roberta Flack, David Alan Grier,
Da Brat, Armstrong Williams, Alvin Poussaint, Whoopi Goldberg, Halle Berry,
BWP, Dominique Wilkins, Russell Simmons...and many more? (ATTENTION
GAYBASHERS: THIS IS ONLY A HYPOTHETICAL QUESTION. REMEMBER THAT THOSE OF YOU
WHO SCREAM THE LOUDEST FORCE OUR GAYDARS INTO RED ALERT!!!)

When we force our morality on others, THAT'S when we really clash.
If we were more tolerable of each other, we would, not love each other
to death but we would understand each other.

I have come to realize that role models or people we look up to
have to large a burden to live up to now-a-days. I am no
lover of gays but what they do in their own privacy is their business.

Imagine one of the great wishbone option QBs that you thought was a pretty
good guy, come out and run for public office as a member of that "other"
party. Wouldn't that kinda chap your hide ?

If we look past differences we tend to relate to each other better.
