State inmates outlive people on outside

WASHINGTON - State prison inmates, particularly blacks, are living longer on
average than people on the outside, the government said Sunday.
Inmates in state prisons are dying at an average yearly rate of 250 per
100,000, according to the latest figures reported to the Justice Department
by state prison officials. By comparison, the overall population of people
between age 15 and 64 is dying at a rate of 308 a year.
For black inmates, the rate was 57 percent lower than among the overall
black population - 206 versus 484. But white and Hispanic prisoners both had
death rates slightly above their counterparts in the overall population.
The Justice Department's Bureau of Justice Statistics said 12,129 state
prisoners died between 2001 through 2004.
Eight percent were murdered or killed themselves, 2 percent died of alcohol,
drugs or accidental injuries, and 1 percent of the deaths could not be
explained, the report said.
The rest of the deaths - 89 percent - were due to medical reasons. Of those,
two-thirds of inmates had the medical problem they died of before they were
admitted to prison.
Medical problems that were most common among both men and women in state
prisons were heart disease, lung and liver cancer, liver diseases and
AIDS-related causes.
But the death rate among men was 72 percent higher than among women. Nearly
one-quarter of the women who died had breast, ovarian, cervical or uterine
cancer.
Four percent of the men who died had prostate or testicular cancer.
More than half the inmates 65 or older who died in state prisons were at
least 55 when they were admitted to prison.
State prison officials reported that 94 percent of their inmates who died
from an illness had been evaluated by a medical professional for that
illness, and 93 percent got medication for it.
Eighty-nine percent of these inmates had gotten X-rays, MRI exams, blood
tests and other diagnostic work, state prison officials told the bureau.

that fact that the swine have made it illegal for a con to get a job, it's
clear that this high death rate is exactly what some folks want to see. The
study is only validating what's been known by convicts for many years. That
there are folks who draw a US government paycheck who are actively engaged
in the business of trying to murder you off asap for fun and profit.
It always amazes me that "clean people" can get together to agree on mass

Actually - not. All of these statistics which you cite are meaningless
without understanding why things happen. If you grew up in a neighborhood
with high crime rates - how do you think that would affect your life ?
Then, you have cops who literally have permission to kill you if they want
to, the courts will not prosecute them. The same cops who openly declare
"war" on this and that, these are the same cops who refuse to enforce
immigration policies and the result is that illegal aliens are more
successful than our own poor.

Here's the relationship. It has to do with hope and hopelessness, and human
strength to resist acting out in anger as one struggles for survival in an
atmosphere and overall environment of synical despair.
When these forces conspire to fill someone's mind with hate, that person is
no longer in control of himself. When someone is filled with hate, anything
can happen. Rapes, murders, robberies, arson, here in the US or in the Sudan
it makes no difference. The human mind is weak and cannot resist evil when
the mind is full of hate. In Darfur they mutilate children, chopping off
limbs, raping and burning them. It has nothing whatsoever to do with
genetics. Blacks are not predisposed to this conduct. Whites, Orientals &
all others have all done these things and worse. What kind of person gets
together with his buddies and goes out looking to chop up children with a
meat cleaver ? Such people do exist, today, in Darfur.
Laws which make it illegal for an ex-con to get a job destroy hope, increase
hostilities, feeds into the ballooning bank account of collective hatred,
and certainly contributes to the "crime lotto" where any damn thing can
happen at anytime to anyone.
Of course, there are very simple solutions to all of this which will never
be implemented due to the sheer magnitude of human stupidity
My point is simply that no matter how bad things may seem around here, they
could always be worse. The missing children, the molestations, the racism,
the corruption, the brutalities, the injustices, ...... could all be
infinitely worse. So, we have a choice to make as a society. We can work
together collectively to improve ourselves, including the child molesters,
rapists, cannibals, etc, or we can simply give up on progress and choose to

We live in very different worlds. Down here most of the rapists are poor
unemployed youth who cannot afford to get married and cannot get girlfriends
because of the materialistic nature women around them. These people will

You should ask how exactly BANISHMENT
works. Because in order to address crime
by means of prevention and reeducation, a
total elimination of the incarceration industry
would have to be implemented. Inmates can
choose where they'll relocate (according to
a "tolerance scale"), -whether they'll stay in
the country, but in different state and town
or they'll be needing proper travel papers,
which will allow them to foreign countries of
their choice.
Those who made up their mind, and have
provided for themselves their passports,
visas and travel fare - will leave prisons
first.
Those who will not be able to select their
destination, or may require some help in
choosing an appropriate place to settle
will receive some professional help from
travel agents and experienced travelers.
Since they'll have to pay for passport and
visas from their own pocket, they'll may
also need an assistance to get loan with
help of professionals in banking field, to
get their fair. Unless government loans
will be offered to them on conditions of
repayment through sale of property and
other assets registered on their names...
And last, who may not be the least, will
be convicts who do not cooperate with
their relocation, and will require an effort
on the part of authorities, who will have
to transport them to ungoverned territory
that's under supervision of their govrmnt.
Families, friends and loved ones of the
prisoners, who are willing to participate
in relocation of the subject, or join them
on their trip, should be given opportunity
to do this, including to escort them to
their final destination...
