fancy neighborhoods of each. And, of course, there are good and bad
neighborhoods mixed with different races.
Here is my theory of why seemingly intelligent people make the kind of
obvious bone-head blunder you just committed ("over-detecting"
differences between groups, in your case). I think evolution has given
us a bias to see more patterns than actually exist. If we think that
water sources are linked to visiting antelopes, and we are right, we
eat and reproduce. And if we're wrong? It's not that costly.
It pays off to have theories, so we make more of them than the facts
warrant.
You're a victim of millions of years of evolution, I figure.
But for God's sake man, it surely is amazing to see people say such

FOrtunately, the invention of writing allows society to collectively

Again, you make the dumbo error of taking a mild difference in the
mean difference, from group to group, and overinterpret it to be
broadly representative.
Take economic and educational integration. Blacks continue to progress
and probably overlap with whites to the tune of about two thirds now.
The two groups are roughly the same, now, with variation only at the
edges.
Now - take this great invention of writing and use it to get smarter.
