I have been trying to email Bannerman's ISP to complain about his
abusive and racist behavior, but my emails get bounced back to me.
Do any of you have ideas about what address to use to get something
through?

Michele (Happy because she just sent a complaint to Steve's ISP, and
looking forward to sending one to PAuL's next!)

That's probably the right one though it won't make any difference. I have
just spoken to my provider and since my posts have not offended Singapore
Laws, I have nothing to fear! Too bad, you white racists, we Asians are
not as intolerant and bigoted as you are, and most of all, we are all too
aware of your prejudice against us and your interference in our domestic
affairs. Now go to hell, you American hegemonic sack of shit!! =)

Thanks to your sneakiness, Bannerman withdrawls his truce offerings and
shall remain in scw indefinitely!!

Michele, it would help if you'd let us know what address you've tried;
Bannerass's return address seems to have an extra space in it, after
the @ character.

pacific.net.sg has a pretty nice web page; apparently it's a pretty
big outfit, sponsored by Sembawang Media Pre Std and Singapore
International media pte Ltd. I'm hoping that they're protective
enough of their good names to want to stop these jerks, but you can't
always count on that.

Anyway, an office address is:

89 Science park Drive
#04-09/12
The Rutherford
Singapore, 118261

Nicholas Lee is listed as the CEO; however, we probably want Stacy
Chua, Systems Manager, or Wong Kok Hoou, Network Operations Manager,
or Paul Tan, Customer Service Manager.

Their Help line is he...@pacific.net.sg and their sales hotline is
in...@pacific.net.sg

Personally, I'd email both of these addresses with a full file of the
spew from these jerks (*include the headers*), and add one to
ro...@pacific.net.sg

Hahahahahahahahaha! They have a good nough name to know that they cannot
censor people based on the wishes of a bunch of racists who do not know
how to debate! We are a proud Asian nation here, and none of your "let's
censor that second-class citizen" crap will apply in Singapore!! If you
don't believe me, keep trying and show yourselves up for the disgraceful
racists that you lot are! Besides, I have spoken to Pacnet who informed me
that since nothing illegal was done, there is nothing to be done. Asians
have rights too, and too bad a bunch of provincial and ignorant
whitte-trash racists like you guys can't fathom that out! Remeber "Michael

Hmmm....Well, I am going to wait for a written reply from pacnet, and with
that, I may actually apply for a writ to place some kinda' of restraining
order on you racist lot for harassing me unnecessarily. We use proxies
here, so we can easily filter crap from white supremists out anytime.

Well, I thought you were pretty clueless about the technical end of posting
to Usenet when I saw that you'd put your X No Archive in your subject line,
instead of giving it its own line in the header. You just confirmed it.

People who are using Netscape (ptui!) to read Usenet don't have killfile
abilities, and only limited abilities to see who the poster is before opening
the post. It has nothing to do with what kind of computer you're using, or
the amount of RAM; it's your operating system, and the software that your ISP
gives you. Unfortunately these days Unix shell accounts are few and far
between, and people are stuck with Netscape (ptui!) as a newsreader. It's a
pretty good browser, but it's a *terrible* newsreader.

Trn on a Unix box. That's living.

Um, hey? The background the previous poster was referring to was aoubt
knowing what posting software people commonly use. Not a thing about world
travel.

This newsgroup is not an 'American' group. So hey, all you Canadians and
Europeans, stop being so un-American, would ya?!?

UseNet is not a haven for free speech. You cannont/should not post
whatever you want to wherever you want to. Your posts should be on topic
for the newsgroup. This lastest racist argueing is NOT on topic. Asking
people to leave because they do not post on topic is not censorship and
not restricting free speech, it is obey a few 'rules'.

Example: I am an ocean scientist. I want to go present a paper of mine.
But instead of presenting it at an oceanography meeting, I submit my paper
to the microbiologist conference. They turn me down. Are they censoring
my work? No. But my work is not appropriate for the venue and they are
telling me to go elsewhere. And that's what these people should do.

X = no archive. - yes No repost.

Free speech is a very very bad thing. We should try to stamp it out
whenever possible.
Now, would of course, be the best time....before we have heard
any more of what we do not wish to hear.

Hello,
It was not my intention to enter a holy flame war here. My
intention was to point out the ease by which we all tread on our own
rights for free speech.
I agree that Steve (etc) are out of place on the NG. I don't

Then don't read usenet, dufus! Go read some freakin wedding magazines

In general posting off topic is in bad taste, alt.wedding and
soc.couples.wedding is not the place to argue about racial issues.
Any personal wars should be done via email. I'm no net cop, this is
common sense.

Having been on the Net for some years I should say that the written
medium of Usenet is a poor means of communication as misunderstandings
can easily arise. We should all take time to cool down before replying
a post.

As an ISP we view spams, mailbombs, impersonations, etc. as abuses of
our service and will take appropriate actions that may ultimately
result in suspension of an account. For more serious offenses such as
break-ins we will not hesitate to get the local law enforcers
