I know this might not be considered a proper question, but I'll ask it
anyways. I was admitted to a prestigious school under early action (I'd
rather not say which one), and since then, my grade in my AP calc course has
fallen by two grades. Should I be worried about having my acceptance
rescinded? I think I can get it back up to just one letter grade below what
is was. Will this be good enough to end out the year? Also, will it help if
I don't send in my matriculation form until May 1, so that they will still
be trying to recruit me, and ergo they'll thing twice before sending any
threatening letters?
Sorry for all of these dumb questions. I would really appreciate any
thoughts.

I would not really be worried too much about it if i were you. Yes,
colleges will actually follow through on the threat of revoking an admission
offer, but i dont think they would do so with you. If you manage to keep
your grades up in all of your other classes and continue to work hard I
think you will be just fine. What colleges absolutely do not want to see is
someone resting on their laurels. Also, you didnt really say, but did you
fall from an A to a C, from a B to a D, or from a C to an F? This would
make quite a bit of difference.

it really only matters to if its your semester grade that had fallen,
considering thats the only grades colleges look at. Although if you got a
lower grade for the semester than normal, you can always bring it back up
for the 2nd semester. no big deal
