ACT Test Scores

Took the ACT and listed several schools on the test form for report to be
sent. Though I did pretty good, am going to re-take, but now an
un-official source is saying once a score is sent to the school, that is
the score they consider and ACT will not forward any others. At the time
of testing the proctor didn't say anything about that and just said fill
in the schools you want. Anyone now if that is the case???? Thanks!!
