(I think that is not what I thought it might be.)

By pure serendipity, I stumbled across this post¹, and, in this order,
thought:
- well, 2016 is surely getting closer to the planning horizon now,
- that means it's soc.bi's 22nd birthday on Oct 22 next year, hooray
- hang on, we're not done with October this year yet.
- Hey, that's actually pretty much now, and we'll just blame time zones
for the rest.

So, soc.bi is now officially old enough to buy a drink, drive a car, and
engage in naughty acts in many places around the world. (Though I would
not recommend doing all that simultaneously.)

Hooray!

U.

If it did, would anybody notice anymore?

So I checked my calendar for 2016, only to find I had already marked the
event, presumably when the OP posted. By then, the brain will probably
be completely gone.

Uh, that happened four years ago in most countries, I think. Earlier, in
others.

I'm just "the OP" now?

BTW, my experience is that getting bisexuals to show up to parties in New York is considerably easier than herding cats.

Sorry...the original post had long expired from my newsspool, so I
didn't have it to hand.

Requires no effort at all, I am told :-)
